The day blew by as I anxiously waited for Harry to show up. I'm really looking forward to this date. I want to get to know Harry. I mean the real Harry, not the one he is portrayed on TV or in magazines. I want to know what he likes and dislikes and why? Or how things make him feel at different times? I'm glad I wasn't just another conquest for him. It tells me there is more to him than most guys.

I slip on my light brown ridding boots and grab my warmest coat. It's gonna be cold tonight sand I don't want to end up freezing, especially if Harry tries offer me and coat, then he would be the one freezing.

I lock up my apartment and dash to the elevators. I love my apartment, but I think it maybe time for me to move. Yes, this place is nice, but I'm a big time designer now! Shouldn't I be living in a penthouse or something?

I reach the lobby and immediately see Harry. Once he notices he makes a beeline for me.

"How are you love? You look great!" Harry said giving my cheek a kiss the wrapping his arms around me in a hug.

"I'm good. You look handsome! How have you been?" I ask as we part from our hug.

"I've been good. I have the most perfect idea for a New York themed short notice date!" Harry said excitedly. He reminded me of such a little boy when talking about he brilliant idea.

Harry offers his arms for me to take and I do. He is such a gentleman. So much better than Luke that is for sure...

Harry leads me out of the apartment complex, and down the sidewalk a bit. He begins telling me about how much he loves the fall and Christmas time frame and New York. I agree and after multiple Home Alone references we are laughing so hard our sides hurt.

We are walking in the park as the leaves that has fallen off the trees crunch under our feet. It beautiful out side today. Harry is beautiful. Especially in a park in the middle of Autumn. We talk about everything from jobs, to traveling, to family, and to pets.

Eventually we both get hungry and scamper off somewhere in the park and to get hotdogs. They are the perfect food to warm me in the cold weather.

"What do you like on your hotdog, mustered or ketchup?" Harry asked pointing to both, but hold the ketchup bottle in his hand. Apparently that what he likes to put on his hotdogs.

"Neither." I say then take a bite of my bare hotdog. Harry stands in front of me, mouth open and eyes wide, staring at me while I chew and eventually swallow.

"Wow. I have NEVER met anyone who doesn't like something on there hotdog." Harry says as we start walking again.

"Well not me. I like my hotdogs plain. Just eating a hotdog in my mouth is good enough for me..." And as soon as I said that, I knew it came out wrong. It sounded dirty and I never meant it like that. I couldn't help myself, I started laughing and luckily for me Harry did too.

The stars appeared in the sky and caught our attention. I could his breath as he looked up to the galaxies above us.

"I love looking at the stars. Since I moved to New York I haven't been able to see them quite as often." I spoke quietly gazing up at the sky above our heads.

"Where in the Midwest are you from?" Harry asked switching his attention to me.

"Ohio." I say with a look of yup-there-it-is on my face.

Harry laughs. I could listen to his laugh for a lifetime...

We end up walking a bit more, and then we head back towards the direction of my apartment.

"Do you want to come up and watch a movie or something?" I ask still not ready for Harry to leave just yet. I really like him, and this date has been magical so far.

"Sure." He says with a smile and sudden burst of energy. He must not have want this date to end yet either.

We finally reach my apartment and I set my coat and Harry's in the coat closet. I head to the kitchen to make some hot chocolate with Harry following close behind me. He takes his seat at the island whileI begin the hot chocolate.

"What movie do you want to watch?" I ask being the polite hostess I am. "I have movie in the bookshelf by the TV."

He scans the living room and quickly finds what I'm talking about. Harry makes his way over to the bookshelf and tilts his head to see the titles of the movies. I watch from the kitchen with fascination. He is adorable with his little concentrated face on, and his arms crossed thinking over the selection.

"You have quite a few romance movies..." Harry observers as I pour the hot chocolate in two mugs.

"Yeah, I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic." I say while laughing, slightly nervous he will find it weird I have a obsession with romantic movies.

Harry turns around to me smiling and says, "Me too." He gave me a wink and grabbed his mug of hot chocolate. I slightly blush. That was kind of embarrassing...

Finally Harry chooses a movie. Notting Hill, one of my favorites. We put the movie in and settle down on the couch. I almost know this movie by heart. I can recite all the lines as they come on the tv.

Harry subtly scoots close to me, but not subtle enough to make me not notice. I won't discourage him though. I feel unusually comfortable around Harry. Nobody has ever made me feel this way before. Especially on a first date...

BeforeI know it he has his arm placed on the back of the couch behind my head. This is nice. This is what I want and have been wanting. I set my empty mug in the coffee table next to his and settle back down next to Harry. I'm not sure how it all happened, but I somehow got lucky enough to end up here on my couch next to an amazing man watching one of my favorite movies. Maybe u this what the old man with the cane was telling me to wait for. Man he was just trying to give me a little more strength to endure ling enough to make it to this point.

I start to feel my eyes get heavy. Despite my best efforts of fighting off sleep I eventually succumb to its wishes and drift off while movie still plays...
