Chapter 3 Being myself

The sun was bright today, you left you're curtains open and forgot to close them yesterday, but it had a beautiful view of the ocean. You then woke up by the sun shining on you're face. You then pulled you're covers off and got up.

You then saw the time, it was 7:45, you then raise you're arms in the sky Stretching. You then went out of you're room and went to the kitchen. You got a bowl and a spoon and then pulled out the milk and cereal.
You then thought in you're head, "I should act like myself now, and if she doesn't like me for who I am, well we can't be a couple then."

You then got out of the chair and rinse the dishes and put them in the dishwasher.
"I'm bored so why not go outside and find water gir- I meant lapis" you said tired.
You then walked to you're room and got a stripe shirt on, and pants. (The stripes can be any color you want, after all this is for boys and girls) you then walked out but you notice you're mail box. "Oh please don't be who I think it is"
You sighed, you walked up to you're mail box staring at it worried, you then opened it and of course it was you're mom.

"LEAVE ME ALONE WOMAN" you shouted in you're head, you then went back inside and read it.

Dear (Y/N),
It's me mommy, I hope you like it there, I miss you and I wish you didn't have to live far away from the family. Also sorry for breaking you're sink a long time ago. I still feel bad about it, anyways mommy loves you and please give me a letter back or I'll come and check on you.
P.S You're house better be clean when I come or forever

You then sighed, "mom I can take care of myself you know..." You then left the note on you're table and went outside and headed towards to the beach.
While you were walking you thought in you're head, "I better not forget to sent her a letter back, I don't want her coming to my new place, the whole reason I got that place was to stay away from her."

You then got there and sat on a log nearby it, you then notice Steven and three girls fight this giant worm and it was heading you're way,
You freaked out and ran away from it,
Garent saw you and picked you up and landed safely away from it and place you down,
"It's not safe for a human to be in battle" garent said being cool as ever,
"I-I'm sorry I just went there to wait for somebody...." You said nervously.
"Well plan it somewhere else, anyways I got to go bye" she then flew back to battle.

You then watched them fight from far away,
"Whoa they're just like Lapis....
I wonder if that her group" you were amazed by the fight and you then saw the monster poof into a ball shape,
"What? Where did it go?" You said curiously and ran there,
You then saw Steven and he saw you,
"Hey (Y/N) whatcha doing here?" Steven said happily as ever,
"I-I was waiting for lapis" you said,
You could be yourself around Steven because he nice so it didn't bother you much.

He then smiled big, "are you and lapis dating?"
"W-What!, no....." You blush.
"Then why do you keep seeing her?" He punched you're shoulder softly,
You then blush and laugh, "well because she fun to hang with and she interesting"
Steven eyes then sparkle like a star,
"You guys would be cute together," he smiled
"I don't think that will ever happen...." You then had a mood swing,
"that's true she might not even like me.... She did call me annoying? Wait did she?" you said in you're head.

Steven then hugged you're leg, "Ruby and Sapphire are different, different is what make love come closer"
You then felt better by that and smiled,
"Yeah, it does doesn't it"
Lapis then appeared from the sea, she saw you and walked towards you and Steven.

"Hey lapis!" Steven said happily,
"Hi Steven, I see you're with (Y/N),"
"Yeah and I should leave, have fun" Steven runs to temple.
Lapis didn't know what happen but she didn't seem to mind anyways so she turned to you.

Lapis POV
"Oh it's (Y/N), (She/He) looks cute today"
She thought in her head.
"H-hi..." (Y/N) blush,
Lapis then felt her heart beat fast.
"What am I feeling...." She thought in her head.
(Y/N) then notice lapis being odd,
"Hey you okay?" (Y/N) asked,
"Y-yes I'm sorry anyways what are we going to do today?" Lapis asked.

"Well I thought it be cool to hang out on the beach today, well if you don't mind" (A/N) said respectively.
"Yeah it sounds good I suppose,"
lapis and (Y/N) then sat on the sand staring at the ocean.
"it beautiful, I sometimes wonder how the ocean just flow and how it was created.." Lapis said wondering.

(Y/N) POV
"I found it adorable how she wonders," you said in you're head.
She then stares at you, you're eyes made contact and it was romantic.
Lapis then replied, "what is this feeling I feel?" She placed you're hand on her heart beating,
You blushed, "t-that you're heart beating"
lapis then was confused
"Wait I have a heart?"
You then laughed, "doesn't everybody?"
She then felt her heart beat,
"I'm a gem, it's probably my gem beating, my body is not my physical one, my physical one is my gem on my back," she shows you her gem.

"If my gem gets cracked, well I'll will look freaky but if my gem shatters well that's my life ending forever" lapis said,
"Oh... So you're kinda a alien right?" You said.
"What's a alien?" Lapis asked,
"A alien is something that's not from planet earth" you explained to Lapis.
"Oh well I guess?" lapis said confused.
You then stared at her blushing face,
"Do you know what a kiss is?" You asked her.
"No what's that?" Lapis asked,
"Can I do a example on you?" You asked.
"Sure it can't be that bad" lapis smiled.

You then went closer to her face and she was confused and blushing still, you then press you're lips against her,
"Why did you do that?" Lapis asked,
"why did I feel embarrassed about it?"
You then laughed, "well that's when somebody shows he loves somebody, and I stole you're first kiss"
Lapis then picked you up and kissed you roughly.
