Chapter Two Hanging with you

The next day,
As you ran to the beach with a picnic basket with food and a picnic blanket, you saw the boy from yesterday again, "Hey Steven, Byeeeeee" as you ran past Steven he waved back at you too with his happy smile.
While you ran to the beach the blue girl wasn't there yet, so you placed the blanket, then you put some dishes,Cups, and food on top of the blanket.

"I hope she comes.......
It like a date" (Y/N) said happily.
Then Lapis came from the sea and saw you,

Lapis POV
"Oh great that "human" is there...." Lapis thought inside of her head.
"Hey..... Water girl?"  (Y/N) said,
Lapis then glared at (Y/N),
"What did you call me?" She said angrily,
"W-water girl..."  (Y/N) said nervously,
Lapis then water slap (Y/N),
"My name is Lapis Lazui...." She said trying to calm down.

"Oh haha.... N-nice to meet you L-Lapi-"
Lapis then interrupted,
"Okay? Anyways what is you're name?"
Lapis asked, you the answered,
"(Y-Y/N)"
You said shyly.
Lapis then blushed,
"It's a good name..."
You then blushed along with her,
She then saw the Picnic, "Um what's that?"
You then ran over there and displayed it,
"It's a picnic!" You said happily and smiled brightly.

"Oh? What's tha-"
you then interrupt Lapis,
"W-WHAT!? You don't know what a picnic is?! Don't worry, I be there for you for now on"
(Y/N) said hugging Lapis tightly.
Lapis blushed and you notice she smiled a little, you were very surprised because you never seen her smile, plus it was beautiful.

Lapis POV
huh?
"Human didn't see me smile did (she/he)...." She thought in her head.
"Hey here try a cake" he smiles,
Lapis stared at the cake glaring and nodded no,
"I don't eat....." Lapis replied,

You then think, "she not trying to kill herself is she.... Wait she has powers, Do you gain powers by not eating? I should ask her but then again she might think I'm stupid...."
Lapis was staring at you're eyes, "I'm a gem, and you're a human" lapis said.
"A gem? Are you like a actor or circus act?" You asked.
She then water punched you,
"Ahh! What was that for?!" You yelled in pain,
"Because I don't know what a actor or circus act is, and you're bothering me" she replied

"Oh well you didn't have to do that"
You put you're hand on the pain,
"Well what am I'm suppose to do? Just walk away and say bye?" Lapis replied,
"YES" you replied.

Lapis thought in her head, "I wonder if he with the crystal gems......"
"Oh no it's getting dark I gotta go," you waved goodbye,
She stared and then walked away.
