Multi-coloured structures...all in dark shades, stood. Their heads held high, their nostrils flaring, their hooves impatiently pawing and striking the bare ground beneath them, as they wait for their leader. Soon...after much commotion and pressure of standing so close to the other members.....sharp, clear and loud hoofbeats walked with poise on a shining rock surface. Its sound travelled through the horses, silencing them almost immediately.
A dark figure rose from the blind spot of the rock...as soon as its two pricked and sharp ears rose...all the horses reared and neighed in sync, before flawlessly returning to the ground and kneeling, bowing their heads in respect. There wasn't a single sense of rebel or a sound of a whinny heard as the dark figure soon showed itself.....a large, strong, fearless, and cruel stallion. Once he reached the top, you could see the true power and beauty of the creature, his head...an Arabian shape, with his eyes glaring down at his herd...the red pupils scanning the grounds for any flaw of the horses. The gaze soon died down, for there was none to be spotted. The dark forest with mist flowing around them revealed a home, a rocky structure which catered to the horses....The forest mist swirled around all of them, creating a dark feeling which the stallion loved.
The power and evil still in his gaze, muzzle twitched, nostrils letting out steam, hooves still and shiny, body held up and strong, ears pricked, mane and tail flowing, and neck arched,..... he snorted...and let out a small whinny...
Immediately, all the horses lifted their heads in sync.
"Greetings Lord Malius!" they neighed and stomped their hooves together.
The Stallion seemed pleased, and a small smirk which revealed his white teeth formed on his muzzle.
"Very good...now, for today, I need at least 4 more horses...spread out and cover more land. 3 to 4 in one group..." He whinnied just loud enough for the horses to hear, an obvious tone of villainy and apathy in it.
He paused.
"I expect all of you to already know the sequence...and what to do when you encounter one...so I am not going to waste my time standing here and telling you what to do. So, get a move on." he continued, implementing the same exact tone of his whinny, before turning and walking down the pedestal, a small smile cracked when he saw his mate standing there waiting for him. The stallion's tail flicked as he went forward to nuzzle her.
"Irvine, my dear...good to see you..." he whinnied a greeting. The dark bay mare with black socks smiled as her mate greeted her, she nuzzled him back and licked his muzzle.
"Good to see you too, my lord." she replied, dipping her head a little.
"Come on, lets go.." The stallion whinnied, before turning to walk to their rock cavern, his tail flicked and lightly petted Irvine's face. The mare chuckled softly at that and followed her mate to rest at the cavern.
Meanwhile, once the two Alphas had gone, the Advisor galloped up and whinnied to all the horses.
"Well! You heard Malius! Get a move on!" he let out a shrilling neigh. The horses snorted and within seconds, they spilt into their different groups and galloped out of sight, gone into the deep hallows of the forest, their hooves thundering and cracking the grass.
............
The Dark Horse Alliance...120 strong....is by far the largest herd to ever last, and the most evil on the contrary. The groups of darkness would travel far, sniffing scents of fresh horses and locating them. One particular group...consisted of 4 horses, one dark grey dapple stallion, one dark brown roan mare, one black and grey mare and one dark red roan stallion. They were best friends, and constantly share their love for the Dark Horse Alliance, as well as their power among the Earth. These 4 were headed North West, in the direction of the hills, where some lone horses were sniffed out before but had never been found....
"Hey Riskel...how's Zolona doing with the new foal...?" The black and grey mare asked the dark red roan stallion, as the four of them made their way through the forest, their senses at their sharpest.
"Oh she's fine...its not like a mate of mine would be so lousy and weak...would she..." the stallion replied her in his gruff voice.
"Hmm...and I thought she was...such a pity.." The mare teased again, changing into a light and flawless tone.
"Shut your muzzle would you Jazabel?! It's not like you have a foal anyway...!" Riskel bit back. The mare simply chuckled and continued to listen for horses.
"Hey you two...calm your nerves...we won't want to be heard or we'll lose a chance of getting one." a calm, cool and serious tone escaped into Riskel and Jazabel's ears. The two immediately kept quiet at the leader's whinny.
"S-Sorry Diadora..." Jazabel neighed to the other dark brown roan coloured mare. She simply smirked, looking forward as she realised they were getting close to the area where the other group sniffed the pure horses out.
"Okay guys...keep your senses at the ready...we're approaching the area.." Diadora whinnied to her group. The horses neighed in sync back to their leader as they slowed down to a small area where it was decorated with flowers and butterflies fluttering around.
"Hmph...seems this place is a total mess..!" the last stallion nickered, coming to a walk as his jade-coloured eyes scanned the area, their hooves beating the ground.
"Can't agree with you more Devidan..." Jazabel neighed to the stallion, as all of them walked around, sniffing the ground, looking for any clues or sights to where the pure horse or horses could have gone to.
As 5 minutes past, Jazabel got impatient.
"Hey Diadora..can we look somewhere else..? This place is a bust." she complained, her tail swatting at a fly. Go away you pest!!! She scolded silently in her mind. Diadora simply ignored the mare and shot her a look, before returning to inspect the ground, not long before she found hoof marks on the grass...Jazabel snorted and pouted, sitting on her haunches as the rest continued their inspection.
"Told you to shut your muzzle..." Riskel snickered at the mare. Jazabel widened her eyes and shot Riskel a look as well. He basically pretended not to see it.
"Guys...Ive got ourselves a lead..." Diadora whinnied to the group, her purple eyes staring distant...she paused..."Follow me..we're in it for the big game..." she smirked, before starting her gait. The other horses looked at each other with curiosity to what their leader was doing, but they obeyed and followed......
