Chapter 10

"You did what?!?" Ginny practically screams as I break the news about what occured between George and I last night.

"It just happened!" I say burying my face in the pillows on my bed. After our kiss last night, George and I finished the walk through the park hand in hand. After the park, we disapparated back home where right before we walked back through the protective enchantments he grabbed me around the waist again and kissed me again. The whole time I wasn't sure how i should feel. It wasn't like kissing Fred, I could say that much. After we passed back through the enchantments he went back to acting as if none of that had ever happened. It was an odd evening.

"It didn't just happen, there's two people involved!" She said shaking her head. "And one of them is you."

"Don't look at me like that!" I say sitting up and hugging the pillow to my chest. "I'm confused by all of this!"

"Well you don't like George." She says staring at me with a completely straight face.

"You don't know that!" I say slightly annoyed she would say that..

"Fine, you may like George, but you don't love him. I know that much." She says and as I say it I know she's right, I don't love George and I don't like him like that either. I just squeezed my eyes shut for a second before looking around the room at anything that would allow me to avoid making eye contact with Ginny. "See, you know i'm right.

"Whatever." I mumble slightly annoyed at her right now. "Let's just drop it, i have to get ready.' i say walking over to the my closet to grab my rainboots, I can hear the rain beating down on the house right now.

"Get ready for what?" Ginny asks laying down on her bed.

"Doctors appointment. Hermione's taking me."

"Hermione's taking you?" She asks sitting up with a funny look on her face.

"Yes Ginny, that's what I just said."

"Oh..." She says picking up her wand and twisting it around in her hands. "Because she had to go with me to Hogwarts."

"Today?" I say annoyed even more. Of course whenever i needed someone they couldn't be with me. That seems to be the trend here.

"Yeah, it's fine though. I can just have George bring me or something." Ginny says and I can tell she wants Hermione, not George.

"No, it's fine. She can go with you, it's really not a big deal. Whatever you guys are doing is probably more important." I say hinting around to whatever they're doing. I'm curious why they would need to go back to Hogwarts.

"Well, mum really wants us to both go. You see, we're probably going to go back to Hogwarts to finish school." She says avoiding my eye contact the whole time. When she says they will be going back to school my heart drops. "What?" Is all i'm able to say. What will I do if they all leave?

"Well of course George will still be here." She says before thinking it over. "Although of course that probably doesn't help. I don't think Ron plans on going back either." She says giving a shrug. "Harry's not sure either."

"So it's basically just you and Hermione?" I say still upset because of course those are the two who I am the closest to. She nods and I feel bad looking at her feeling all guilty. "Ginny, you don't feel bad right? Please tell me you don't, because you shouldn't. You're doing the right thing, after all you have two more years left. It's only right that you and Hermione continue your studys. Ron and Harry should to of course." I say quickly adding in that last part, although I secretly hope they don't go. I want at least one other person to be here besides George, even if I don't know Ron or Harry that well.
