For: daddywinston  I hope you like it!💞

I sighed as my mothers station wagon stopped in front of Shermer High.
She put the car in park, "Kayley I hope you learn your lesson in here."
I huffed and crossed my arms averting my eyes to the window, "Dad already drilled me alright I don't want another lecture from you." I spat at her and slammed the car door behind me.
I shoved my hands in my jacket pockets and made my way to the library.
"This isn't my idea of a fun Saturday." I grumbled under my breath.
As I walked into the library It was completely empty. "Great," I groaned, "I get to spend the next 8 hours alone."
Then he walked in. John Bender, I've heard about him. He's a bad boy, plays by his own rules, and god was he handsome.
He strutted in like he owned the place after stealing a pad of sticky notes from the front desk, then pulled out a chair and sat, kicking his feet up on the table.
I've had somewhat of a crush on John for a while, but I doubt he knows I exist.
"Well, well," Mr.Vernon walked in the library, "glad you both decided to show up on time."
He handed out sheets of paper and told us he expected an essay on who we think we are,
"No less than a thousand words." He said, tossing a pencil at me.
"That doesn't mean one word repeated a thousand times is that clear Mr. Bender?" Vernon narrowed his eyes and pointed at John.
"Crystal." He flipped his hair out of his face and nodded.
"I'll be in my office, any monkey business would be ill advised. Any questions?" He said straightening his suit.
"I got a question." Bender raised his hand.
"Yes." Vernon grumbled, rolling his eyes and crossing his arms.
"Does Barry Manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?" Bender smirked with satisfaction.
"I'll give you the answer to that question next Saturday." Mr. Vernon glared at him.
I couldn't help but giggle, I shot my hands to my mouth to stifle my laughter.
He turned and walked back to his office across from the library. After Vernon left the room was quiet, the silence was deafening.
I tried to pass the time by drawing, when I looked up from my paper I saw John's beautiful brown eyes were locked on me.
My face flooded bright red and a confident smirk spread across his face. I smiled and bit my lip, dropping my gaze to the table.
"I've seen you around you know." He flashed me a grin.
I giggled and rested my chin on my hand, "oh really?" I cocked an eyebrow at him.
"Mhm," he tugged off his scarf and tossed it on the table, "you're Kayley, right?" He pointed a finger at me.
"I might be," I smirked, "depends on who's asking."
He stood from his chair and walked towards me. My heart started beating a mile a minute.
He leaned closer to me, so much that our faces were inches away from touching. His deep brown eyes poured into mine and my stomach was doing somersaults.
"I'm John, John Bender." He smirked and held out a hand. I shook it and giggled.
"I know," I shoved my hands in my jacket pockets and dropped my eyes to my sneakers when I felt my face get hot, "I've seen you around."
"How about we have a little fun?" He raised an eyebrow at me, and offered me his hand.
I thought about it for a minute, I almost declined but then I remembered I'm already in detention so why not?
"Okay." I smiled and took his hand.
John led me to the library door and glanced around the corner, Vernon was nowhere in sight.
"What are you do-" he placed a finger on my lips cutting me off.
"Just trust me." He whispered.
He took my hand and pulled me into the hallway causing me to fall into his arms, "being bad feels pretty good, huh?" He let me go and we started to walk.
"So what did a girl like you do to get stuck in detention anyway?" He asked, shoving his hands in the pockets of his jean jacket.
"What do you mean a girl like me?" I stopped him in his tracks and met his gaze.
"You know," he shrugged, "you don't seem like the person to cause trouble, you're a good girl." He looked down then back up at me.
I laughed a little and bit my lip, "well you're not wrong."
We both froze in panic when we heard Vernon whistling near his office, he was coming towards us.
Next thing I know, John is dragging me into the Janitors closet. He quickly shut the door and locked it.
"We're in the clear right now." He breathed a sigh of relief.
"It's okay. You can breathe now, Your little hearts gonna blow if you don't calm down." He chuckled and pulled me closer to him. The smell of his cologne filled my nose as I laid my head on his chest.
He lifted my chin so my eyes met his and tucked a strand of brown hair behind my ear.
"It may be dark in this stupid closet, but you're still beautiful."
He grabbed my face gently and brought his lips to mine, it felt like lightening running through my veins.
"You wanna know why I'm here?" I said between breaths.
"Yeah." He spoke in a raspy voice.
"I cut class." Before he could say anything I grabbed his face and kissed him quickly.
Who knew a janitors closet could be the most romantic place on Earth? He pulled away and smirked,
"We should head back before Vernon realizes we bailed."
We ran back to the library and sat where we had been before. We had gotten back just in time because in strolled Mr. Vernon.
"I hope you two learned your lesson in here today, now get out of my sight." He pointed to the exit.
John walked me outside, and I waited on my mom to show up.
"I'll see you again won't I?" I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"You can count on it."
