Demon's Call

Hey guys so this is the second chapter yay! If you get confused or anything don't be afraid to message me just make sure you address the text message to me so my sister won't answer. Oh by the way this chapter doesn't have much going on just the beginning of the book ya' know so no big deal, lol. Thank you and I hope you like my book!

~~Noah POV~~

"Hurry up! We need to get as far away as possible before they notice we're gone!" Sage yelled at me as we ran through some forest. I couldn't run as fast as her because of all of my blood lost. I felt faint and I sat on a rock.

She walked back over to me and put her book bag full of stuff down. She sat down by a tree stump beside me. She looked at me with sadness in her eyes.

"I'm sorry. I keep forgetting that you're hurt." She said as she hugged me.

"It's okay." I said wincing a bit a she hugged me. "Your right we need to go." I said as I stood back up and we grabbed our book bags.

~~Sage POV~~

We started running again but not as fast. It hurt to run, hell it hurt to even stand so I didn't understand how I was running. I stopped and looked around it felt like we had just been here.

"Uh Sage, weren't we just here?" Noah asked me.

"Fuck!" I yelled and kicked a tree. I shouldn't have done that because now the pain started rushing threw my body again.

I sat down, not being able to stand anymore. I felt tired and I was in pain but I couldn't stop running, no I needed to get away from here. I need to get Noah and me to a safe place.

I heard Noah whimper slightly and I looked over to him. He was holding his side and I could see blood staining his grey sweatshirt. I went over to him as he pulled his sweatshirt off the reveal the formally white bandages now soaked in blood.

~~Brooklyn POV~~

"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, Shit!" I yelled as I destroyed the forest. I felt my mate's presence growing stronger but I couldn't find her.

I was just about to punch another tree when Hunter caught my fist. I looked back at him probably looking pissed off.

"What!" I yelled jerking my fist back from him. His eyes turned their demon color and I immediately knew to stand down and watch my tone.

"Look I've had fun playing your games but what if som-Their here well their close." He said frantically looking around.

"Where?!" I yelled getting antsy.

He jumped in a tree and looked around. I didn't understand what he was doing but I just waited for him to come back down. I kicked another tree making it fall down out of anticipation.

~~Hunter POV~~

I jumped into tree looking around I felt him he was very, very close. I jumped back down letting my demon sense come into play. I whipped my head back and started running north, brook following close behind.

I smelled blood, his blood.

I finally came into view of a pink haired girl and a brown haired boy. They looked to be fifteen and the pull I felt towards him made it clear that he was the person I was bound to.

I stuck my hand out as I heard brook coming up behind me telling her not to go any closer. I felt my heart start to race as I saw and felt the pain he was in and saw how much blood he was losing.

"Noah! Don't close your eyes! Stay awake!" The pink haired girl yelled at the boy whose name was Noah. "God dammit Noah stay awake!" She yelled shaking the boy again.

She fell to her knees and started crying. I then noticed that Brooklyn had gone over to her. I cursed her for disobeying me but I couldn't blame her.

~~Brooklyn POV~~

"Hey are you alright?" I asked the pink hair girl who looked so adorable with her oversized sweater on.

"Who-who are you?" She asked backing up against a tree.

"I'll tell you later but for now do you want to save your friend?" I asked motioning towards her friend who was being picked up bridal styled by Hunter. She nodded her head still looking sort of hesitant.

"Well come with us." I said sticking my hand out for her. She grabbed my hand and I pulled her up off the ground.

I picked her up as she wrapped her legs around my torso and I jumped through trees going back to our house. Hunter was only a couple feet away because he had to be careful with the boy's body.

I was happy that I had found my mate but I hated that they looked so beat up.

I swear whoever did this will burn in fucking hell.
