ALPHA
CHAPTER 1: CONFUSION
Something was happening. Something big, and they could all feel it. Beacon Hills has seen a lot, alpha packs, darachs, and oh so much more. Even now, they were dealing with the Dread Doctors and chimeras. This place, the small town of Beacon Hills, California was a place that all supernatural beings knew about. Who wouldn't, with all the beings they deal with on a day to day basis.
Not to mention that it lived up to its name. The nemeton was a beacon, calling for all supernatural creatures to come there. Lilith and her pack felt it strongly, ever since it was activated by human sacrifices. It was stronger for them because they resided so close, just a few miles north in an equally small town called Pine Bridge. Now, in this town, they may not have seen as much as Beacon Hills, but they've had their fare share of supernatural drama. However, Lilith's pack was the only supernatural being residing there as of yet, not including their emissary. Due to these facts, Lilith knows that her little town is not responsible for this. No, it has to be someone within this town, the notorious town of Beacon Hills. The question is, who?

The man was puzzled to say the least. Attempting to form the right words, but failing when his own thoughts weren't in order. She had no time to wait for the man to say something. It was clear he didn't have the answers. It was imperative she got back to her pack as soon as possible. Whatever was happening was very much affecting them as well. She could feel it. Without another word, she bolted through her door. This new body, although appearing weak, held her normal abilities. She could run as fast as before, making this experience all the more confusing.
In her haste, she had abandoned shoes. Her bare feet pounded on the bare ground, picking up dirt and anything else littered around. She was running, but she didn't know where. Her knowledge of Beacon Hills was limited to mere gossip. Gossip, however, would not help her find her way. Finding the running useless, she slowed to a stop, not even slightly out of breath. One thing she did know of was the pack residing here. Lilith had heard of the notorious true alpha that rose to power not long ago, Scott. Everyone did, for a true alpha was a thing of myths. The last occurring one being centuries ago. Now, he may not know what was happening either, but she did know it would be useful in acquiring his help.
With new steel resolve, she set off for the woods nearby, out of prying eyes. Now, there were multiple ways she could approach this. One was finding his sent and tracking him down, however that would take much too long. The other, more unconventional way was the way all wolves communicated to each other, howling. This would jump start the alpha instincts and force him to find her. Lilith may not be a true alpha, but her howl was one to be marveled. She found a small clearing, one she wouldn't mind sitting and waiting in, and was one far enough away from the town that it would appear to be a normal wolves howl. With a roll of her shoulders she shifted into her full wolf form, crouched and howled with all her might.
A short time after, an hour at most, Lilith heard movement within the woods. Due to her boredom, she had climbed a tree and was laying blissfully upon a branch, star gazing. When hearing the nose, she gracefully drops down below, her feet barely making a sound.
"Stiles?" A voice pierced through the night. She turned and was met face to face with a boy, a man almost. The true alpha. He was younger than she had thought, smaller too.
"What are you doing here?" He asked, confusion lacing his words. So, Stiles was the boy's name. The one who's body she now occupied. From the way the alpha was speaking to him...her, it would appear this man was apart of his pack. And a close friend.
"Waiting for you." Lilith answered. Those words only seemed to confuse him more.
"Waiting for me? Did you track down the howl?" The alpha inquired, trying to make sense of this bizarre situation. It was getting to much. The panic was starting to boil over.
"I need to get back." Stiles states, panic clear in his voice. The situation was slowly getting into her head. Only now had she had the time to truly process the situation, and it was completely and utterly terrifying.
"Back where? Stiles, you're scaring me." Scott asks frantically.
"To my body." With that it seems all things stop.

Scott stares at her confusion, panic and worry etched into his face. It appears they were emotions he knew all too well. The boy raised his hands and began approaching her as if she were a wild animal, about to snap any minute. In her case, that might be true.
"Stiles...are you awake?" Caution laced his words. Now she was the one to be confused. Awake? Well of course. Why would he ask that?
"Of course I am! You don't understand! I'm not Stiles!" She burst, her emotions getting the best of her. This alpha must be hard of hearing, had he not just heard what she said? Before another thought could pass through her mind she was on the ground, pinned by the young alpha. Anger, and a slight hint of fear flickered within his eyes. His mouth opened, but her alpha instincts kicked in and caused her to flip them. She now was pinning Scott, her eyes without a doubt glowing their telltale red.
"Who are you?" Scott whispered.
