Taylor ran in the hospital. Breathless, she looked around her. The hospital was so big, she didn't know where to go. The only thing she knew, is that Zelena was locked up in the asylum. Before the curse has been broken, it was used to lock up people with mental health problems. But now, it was more used as prison.
"Excuse me" she asked a nurse, at the entrance of the hospital. "Where is the asylum ?"
"It's there" she said, pointing to a door which was half opened.
Taylor ran through the door, then down stairs.
"Excuse me " a nurse, who was behind a desk in front of the stairs, said. "You don't have the authorisation to be here."
"I don't need any authorisation. My sisters are here."
She didn't let the nurse reply, and started to run through the dirty corridor.
"You see, as far as everyone will be concerned, including me, it'll be as though you never existed." Taylor could hear Regina's voice.
It was coming from a room, where the door was opened, and she stopped at the door frame. Zelena was standing in the middle of the room, a man was sitting against the wall, holding a pen and a book, and Regina had her back turned to the door.
"Wait, can he do that ? Just change all of your memories ?" Zelena asked.
Even if she was trying to hide it, she was scared about what was going to happen.
"Absolutely. The pen is mightier than the... Well, everything." The man said.
"Regina" Taylor said, stepping in the room.
Regina turned around to face her sister.
"Taylor? What are you doing here ?"
"What are you doing here ?" Taylor asked.
"Just fixing some problems" Regina said, glaring at Zelena.
"By making her disappear? Just like if she had never existed?"
Regina nodded, a little smile on her lips.
"Regina you can't do that. It's not right"
"Don't worry. No one will remember about her."
Taylor sighed.
"So it's that ? If no one remembers, so it's not wrong?" She grabbed her sister's arm gently. "Please Regina, you're better than that."
Regina looked her in the eyes.
"I'm sorry Taylor, but I don't have the choice. I can't let her ruin everything."
"Well..." Zelena said, a bit scared and uncomfortable. "I never knew our mother, but I imagine I'm getting to know her right now."
"Is that so?" Regina asked, raising an eyebrow.
"She tossed me in a basket, sent me to Oz." Zelena continued. "She gave up a baby without even blinking an eye. And look at you now. You are exactly like her !"
Taylor gasped. She had met her mother, and the only thing she could say is that Regina was really different.A few times after the curse has been broken, Taylor was back at Storybrooke. She got the news that Regina was trying to change, trying to be a better person for her and Henry. So she decided to give her a second chance. But when she arrived at the Mayor's Mansion, she met someone she has never met before. Cora, her mother. She really though that Cora, even if she had given up on her so many years ago, was about to accept her as her daughter. Until the day she has found out the truth.
This morning, Taylor was walking to Regina's room. She was about to knock at the door when she heard the conversation between her mother and her sister.
"Why did you do that, Regina? Why have you accepted her in your life ?"
"Because... She's my sister! And I love her" Regina said in a complaining voice.
"I should have killed her instead of abandoned her"
"Mother!" Regina exclaimed angrily.
"What ? I should have known the only thing she would do was creating problems."
"She's your daughter how can you say such a thing? She is the sweetest and the nicest person I've ever met in my entire life."
Cora started to laugh.
"Yes of course. She's weak."
"She's not!" Regina exclaimed. "I know her since she's ten and she has never stopped fighting for her dreams."
"Which are ? Becoming a singer ? Really Regina? Trust me, this kind of person isn't worth fighting for."
It was too much. As the tears were rolling down on her cheeks, Taylor slowly stepped backwards. She was about to run away when she met Cora's friend, the pirate Killian Jones, also known as the Captain Hook in the hallway.
"You were listening?" He asked.
Taylor slowly nodded, her cheeks wet because of the tears.
"She doesn't care about me" she said in a little voice.
"Who, Cora ?"
Taylor nodded again.
"To be honest, love, the only person she cares about is herself"
"What does she want to do ?"
"To make sure no one comes between Regina and her son"
"And Regina knows about that right?"
"Aye"
"And I thought she had changed"
She started to walk away, and stopped at the door.
"If they ask where I am, tell them I'm never coming back"Yes, Regina and Cora were really different. Taylor slowly turned her head to look at her sister, who seemed lost in her thoughts.
"Well, the ink is drying." The Author suddenly said. "So what do you want me to do?"
"Nothing." Regina said.
Both Taylor and Zelena sighed in relief.
"You didn't know our mother, Zelena, but I did, and so did Taylor. And yet, the three of us suffered. She hurt you, she hurt me, and she hurt Taylor too. But our own worst enemy isn't her or each other. It's ourselves."
With a little smile on her lips, Taylor walked toward the author and took the inkwell which was containing the magical ink, while the author was watching, a bit disappointed.
"Regina!" They could hear a male voice.
They all looked at the door to see Robin entering the room.
"Is everything all right? I've been looking all over for you."
"Everything's fine. I'm so tired of standing in the way of my own happiness, and I'm not going to do it anymore." Regina said.
She smiled at Robin, and Robin smiled back at her.
"Aw. Another woman defining her happiness relative to the love of a man. It's sad, really." Zelena said in a mocking voice.
"Oh, don't get it wrong, greenie. Robin isn't my happy ending. My happy ending is finally feeling at home in the world." Regina said with a little victorious smile. "Robin's just a part of that world. A world that you're going to be forced to watch from a distance, with the most restrictive visitation rights in history."
Then she raised a hand and took a deep breath, and a fire ball appeared in her hand.
"You're ready ?" She said to Taylor.
Taylor nodded and put the inkwell on the ground.
"Don't do this !" The author exclaimed.
"Trust me," Regina said. "We don't need it anymore."
Then she threw the fire ball at the inkwell, and the magical ink was finally destroyed. Then she looked at Robin and gently kissed him. He kissed her back, and they pulled away. Then she looked at Taylor, and wrapped a arm around her waist.
"I'm sorry" she said while she was hugging her.
"It's okay, it's okay" Taylor said in reassuring voice.
They pulled away and Regina smiled at her little sister, then looked at Zelena.
"See you at the next ultrasound."
She turned around and left the room, followed by her soulmate, her sister and the author.
