34 - The Trap

A little caress on her cheek made her wake up. A little smile on her lips, Taylor opened her eyes to meet Lily's.
"Hey baby" she said in a sleepy voice.
"Good morning beautiful" Lily said. "Time to get ready"
Taylor moaned and hid her face in her hands.
"Can't we wait a little please?"
"I'm afraid Merlin can't" someone said next to her.
Taylor rolled on her back to look at the person who was standing next to her, and she suddenly faced the reality of the situation. She was lying on a blanket on the forest ground, and her eldest sister was staring at her.
"If you want to eat breakfast, it's now or never. They almost ate everything." She said making a move of her head toward the fire camp, where a big part of the group was sitting around.
"What ?" Taylor exclaimed, sitting up just like if it was the worst news of the day.
"That's not true" Lily said. "I saved a bit for you"
She took a plate and gave it to her girlfriend, who took it and started to eat. She chewed her meal, watching Zelena walking away, when a maid approached her.
"I'm sorry my lady, but I have to take the blanket."
With a nod of her head, Taylor stood up and walked toward the fire camp, while Lily was joining Emma. The singer sat down next to her best friend, and rested her head on her shoulder.
"Seems like someone is not totally woken up" Selena said with a smile.
Still eating her food, Taylor shook her head. Then she sat straight, when she felt two tiny arms being wrapped around her neck.
"Good morning Roland" Taylor said with a little smile. "Have you slept well?"
The little boy quickly nodded.
"I saw a bat last night. It was so tiny, it looked like a mouse with wings" he said happily.
"Wahoo it must have been amazing" Taylor said in a yawn.
"Roland leave her alone" Taylor could hear Regina say with a smile. "She just woke up."
"What I need right now, it's a cup of coffee" Taylor said with a chuckle.
With a smile on her lips, Regina made a move of her hand, and a cup of warm coffee appeared.
"Here" she said holding out the cup to her little sister.
"Oh thank you" Taylor exclaimed, grabbing the cup. "You're saving my life."
She slowly drank the hot liquid, watching around her. The maids were putting blankets and other stuffs in the carriages, Mary Margaret was rocking Neal, sitting on the ground on the other side of the fire camp, David was talking with Arthur and some knights. Under a tree, Henry was listening to music with Violet, while Zelena was standing under an other tree, glaring at the other side of the clearing, her arms crossed on her chest. Taylor followed her gaze, and noticed that her half sister was looking at Matthew, who was talking with Robin and Killian.
"Is that me or she's jealous?" Lily asked while she was sitting down next to her girlfriend.
Taylor turned her head to look at her lover.
"Here" Lily said, as she was holding out a necklace to the singer. "I wanted to give you this."
Taylor looked at the object, a crescent moon pendant, then look at Lily with surprise.
"I ... I thought it was the only clue you have to discover who is your father"
"Yeah" Lily said with a shrug. "But it's also the most precious object I have so ... I want you to have it."
The brunette took the necklace, and put it around her girlfriend's neck. Taylor took the pendant to examine it.
"Thank you" she said with a big smile.
Lily smiled back as an answer, and quickly kissed her girlfriend on her lips.
"I love you" Lily said.
"I love you too" Taylor responded.
They pulled away, when Lancelot was approaching them.
"It's time to go " he announced.
"Good!" Selena suddenly exclaimed.
Taylor quickly turned her head, to notice that her best friend was still here. They smile at each other and stood up, followed by Lily.
"I hope my horse won't be mean today" the brunette said.
Taylor looked at her while she was climbing on the animal's back, and smiled, looking at her girlfriend.
"You see ?" Taylor said with a smile. "Now it likes you"
Taylor climbed on her horse and made him walk, following the others.

The group was traveling through the forest, silently. Taylor was traveling between Selena and Lily, and was enjoying the forest's air when suddenly, a strange noise made her horse rear up. With a panicked scram, Taylor held the reins as tight as she could, and suddenly the horse started to run as fast as it could through the forest.
"Taylor!" Regina screamed.
"I get her !" Lily screamed, getting off of her horse.
She started to run after her girlfriend, and suddenly turned into a dragon and started to fly away, chasing the crazy horse. The whole group was watching, when suddenly a group of people, holding swords, came from nowhere and attacked them.
"We're attacked!" Arthur screamed, grabbing the sword from his saddle and got off of his horse to fight with a man who was attacking him. Quickly, the knights fought back, and so did the rest of the group.
"Mary Margaret!" David yelled, stopping a man's attack.
His wife was defending herself, her baby in her arm and a sword on the other hand. She kicked a man on his stomach, and quickly turned around to face Violet, who was standing against a tree.
"Take him !" She ordered.
The girl quickly nodded and approached Mary Margaret to take the baby. Not far from them, Emma was standing between a man and Henry, who was protecting Roland. The woman raised her hands, and a white magic made the man fly away. Killian was fighting with a man, and suddenly used his hook to stop the sword, and made the man fall on the ground before knocking him out. Anna and Kristoff were side by side, fighting with two men. But they didn't see a third one coming behind them, and Elsa quickly made some spikes of ice appear, and made them move forward to stop him. Matthew was fighting with a man, protecting Zelena who was desperately trying to remove the bracelet from her wrist. But it was enchanted, and only magic could take it off.
"Regina!" She called. "Remove the bracelet!"
"Don't even think about it" she said, making a man fly away with her magic.

On the other side of the forest, Taylor's horse was reaching a meadow. Lily didn't waste time and landed in front of the animal, making it rear up again and Taylor fell on the ground. The horse ran away in the meadow, and stopped in the side of the forest to eat some grass. Taylor quickly stood up to face the dragon, and instinctively raised her hands, ready to use her magic as the fear was appearing. But as she was staring into the beast's eyes, she noticed that what she saw was different than the last time. What she saw was her girlfriend's eyes, filed with love and concern.
"I'm fine" Taylor said lowering her hands, answering a silent question.
Suddenly, the dragon started to growl, and Taylor quickly raised her hands in fear, ready to use her magic. But the dragon turned its head, and face a group of men that was arriving, holding swords. Lily completely faced the men, extending the wings to protect Taylor, and growled out loud. The men took some steps backwards, and then turned around to run away.

In the forest, a big part of the men were defeated.
"Help !" Selena suddenly yelled.
As he was fighting with a man, Percival knocked him out and turned around, to see that a man was grabbing the brunette. He started to run toward them, but before he could reach them Selena kicked the man between his legs, and Percival knocked him out with his sword.
"Are you alright?" Percival asked.
Selena quickly nodded. Not far from them, Robin aimed at a man, and released his arrow that arrived right in the man's shoulder. But he didn't see a man arriving behind him, and Regina quickly used her magic to stop him.
"Regina!" She heard someone scream.
She quickly turned around, at the moment when a sword was plunged in her stomach. But before it could go deeply, an other sword stopped it, and Regina fell on the ground. She raised her eyes to see her half sister knocking the man out, then lowered them to her wound.
"Regina!" Robin exclaimed. "Are you ok ?"
He kneeled down next to her, looking into her eyes worriedly.
"Yes" she said. "It's just a little cut"
She made a move of her hand above her wound, and a purple magic made it disappear. Then she raised her eyes to look at Zelena who was dropping the sword, while Killian, David and Mary Margaret were approaching.
"Why did you do that ?" Regina asked while she was standing up with her lover's help.
Zelena frowned, a bit confused.
"He almost killed you"
"No I mean, why did you save my life?"
Zelena shrugged her shoulders.
"I don't know. But you can at least thank me"
"Thank you" Regina said, still a bit shocked.
"You're welcome. But don't get use to it."
With that, she turned around and walked away.
"Is everyone alright?" Arthur asked.
"Yes" David said. "We're okay"
Mary Margaret approached Violet, and took back her son.
"Thank you" she said to the girl.
Violet gave her a smile, and ran toward her father to hug him.
"Are Lily and Taylor back?" Regina asked.
"Not yet" Lancelot responded.

In the meadow, Lily turned back into her human form.
"You're okay?" She asked Taylor.
"Yes" Taylor responded, and hugged her.
They pulled away, and Lily looked her girlfriend in the eyes.
"Get the horse back, I'll fly to see where are the others."
"Okay" Taylor said, and she walked toward the horse while Lily was flying away into her dragon form.
Taylor grabbed the reins and started to pet the animal, when a noise made her jump.
"Hello?" She called. "Is anyone here?"
She looked at the forest, when a beautiful woman slowly walked toward her. She was wearing a long leather black dress, had brown eyes and her long wavy brown hair was free. This woman strangely looked like someone Taylor have already met, but she wasn't able to say who.
"Who are you ?" She asked.
The woman raised her hand as an answer, and Taylor fell on the ground, unconscious. The kneeled down next to the singer, and slowly caress her cheek.
"What a pretty woman" she said.
Then she made a move of her hand, and Taylor disappeared in a black smoke. The woman stood up, and made an other move of her hand. A black smoke covered her, and when it disappear she had Taylor's appearance. She quickly turned around to see Lily landing on the meadow. When she touched the ground, she quickly turned into her human form, and walked toward the woman she thought being her girlfriend.
"The group is that way" she said. "They has been attacked, but everyone seems okay"
With smile, she approached the fake Taylor and put a kiss on her lips. The woman was surprised and pulled away, frowning. Lily gazed at, totally confused. Something was wrong. When she kissed her, she felt nothing. No love, no magic, nothing.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Lily asked.
"Yes, why ?"
Lily shrugged her shoulders.
"Nothing" she said, totally suspicious. "We should probably join the others"
