Chapter 8

Saturday arrived earlier than I thought it would. I was looking forward to my evening out with Harry. We’ve decided on dinner and a movie. Well to be honest, nandos and a movie. Not going to lie, I am fairly excited about it all. I know it is not a date, but I still want to be on my best behaviour. Ever since I know Harry is gay, things have changed for me. I’m still me, but just a better version of me. I try not to swear ( not that I really did that before, but still), I try to dress myself a bit better and I try to laugh less hard. Who knows, maybe Harry might like me better that way.

Since I wanted to dress better I went to my room two hours before our get together. I feel like a girl right now, but I just have to do it. I cannot wear a snapback today so I’m ignoring them, with pain in my heart. I was looking through my clothes but felt the nerves kick in. So I decided that to find the perfect outfit without me stressing too much, I would need music. I put my ipod on and searched through my songs.

After finding myself a basic white t-shirt, beige Chinos and red supra’s, I went to the bathroom to take a warm and relaxing shower. My music still very loud so I could still jam along.

is that too much to ask?

oh I wanna have some fun

I want all my friends to come

coz it's now or never

learn the words and sing together

I put my clothes on, combed my hair and made sure my quiff was perfect. Dancing my way around the room I found everything I need for tonight and sat myself on my bed, waiting for Harry to arrive.
