I'm back! So sorry I wasn't here for a while, I had a lot to do. Plus my move and everything. Well, let's go! I know some people who are eager for this update! ;)

She landed the chopper, sliding open the doors and taking in a deep breath of the crisp, cool air as little snowflakes fell in her hair. She was travelling to hours to one of the coldest places in earth realm to take down someone her mother said was names Onaga. The signs of Shoa Kahn were misinterpreted. She closed the doors, pushing the rifle on her back. She believed all she needed was her pistols, and her skill, but she kept it. Just in case, She thought.

She continued on to the temple of ruins, the ash mixing in with the snow on the ground and the building crumbling to nothing. Shattered glass was spread through out the outside and the cavern was barely being held up by pillars. "What happened here?" She questioned. A couple pieces of decaying wall crumbled and it echoed. "What did mom say about this place again?" She asked herself.

"Cassandra Cage. Daughter of Sonya Blade." A deep voice spoke, seeming to echo off the walls. She whipped around, pistol already in hand, but nothing was there. "Such a pleasure seeing you here, weakling." The voice said again.

"I am not weak! Show yourself, coward!" She yelled, spinning in circles, trying to piece together where the voice was coming from.

"As you wish." A dark cloud of dust engulfed part of the room as Cassie eyed it. A creature stood where the cloud of dust was, black dragon wings folded behind his back. He had a mask on, horns growing out to its side. His eyes were a glowing yellow, his skin only green scales. He had a blue diamond engraved in his chest. He smirked.

She glared at him. "Who are you?" She said nothing else as she waited for his reply. He said nothing, only kept that stupid smirk on his face. He circled her, clearly trying to intimidate her with his size, but failing.

He chuckled. "Why did you come such a long way from home, young one? Aren't you supposed to be with your parents?" His eyes glinted with warning, seeming to ward off all other shadows. Run away! They all screamed. Not today, She said in her mind.

"If I asked you once, I've asked you a million times. Who. Are. You." She seethed. She was done waiting. He was playing tricks, playing dumb, playing hard to get, and she knew it. She was not easily deceived.

The man, or creature, laughed. "Didn't your parents ever tell you to treat your elders with respect?" He watched her every move. He was enjoying this! Enjoying messing with her!

"No. They told me shoot now, questions later, and I'm beginning to consider it." Her arm never once shook, quivered, or moved from its loaded position.

"Fine. You're just like your mother. Bold, selfless... but also cold." He rolled his yellow eyes. "My name is Onaga."
