Cassie put in the coordinates into the map and set off to her destination. She felt confident, though she didn't know the danger she will be facing.
Her mother specifically told her what her and her father deal with 24 years before she was born. The emperor of Outworld, Shao Kahn, went against the elder god's rules and merged Outworld with Earthrealm, resulting in him being destroyed. But, the past few months they had gotten sign of his return. Her mother was sending out on a solo mission to destroy him before he gets to strong, but Johnny insisted that she didn't go. That was when Cassie stepped up and took on the challenge.
So now, here she was, on her way to the temple of Shao Kahn, to defeat him once more.
You got to do this Cass, Cassie thought. Do it for Erron. For mom and dad. For your team... For Earthrealm.
She was encouraging herself, trying to relieve the pressure Raiden put in her. He made a... visit, before she left.
"The fate of Earthrealm relies on you, Cassandra Cage. If you fail, we may all die." He said.
"Thanks Raiden. Not really helping." She muttered to herself. "Well, let's do this thing.."
