And her name was Jude.

Chapter 5

The night before we headed to the cabin, Jude climbed up to my window at 3 and climbed in. She stumbled over my suitcase that layer at the foot of my bed and when I chuckled she smirked at me and said 'Awe hush Alex' and layed in my bed next to me. She layer there and stared at my ceiling. I turned my head and looked at her smile. It was so bright it made me smile.
She turned at looked at me with her big beautiful smile and said 'What are you lookin' at, punk?' And she giggled. Her brown eyes sparkled in the moon beams that snuck in between my curtains.
'Why the late night sneaking, I'll see you in less than 2 hours and we'll be rid of this place for a whole month.'
She turned onto her side and looked at me. Her big brown eyes staring into mine. Her smile widened and she said soflty 'I wasn't feeling good, but I knew you would take care of me. So I came to you, and it's gone. I feel amazing, as I always do when I'm with you.' She laughed and said 'Aweh man, that sounded cheesy.' I looked at her and smiled, she made me feel whole. 'You do the same for me' I said as I laughed slightly and continued to stare into her dark deepening eyes. She leaned over slowly and put her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and we slide off into a deep and wonderful sleep.

When we woke up, it was 4:50. She stood up and headed towards my window. She turned and smiled at me 'Gotta go or mom will kill me' she laughed and as she headed out of the window, I called after her 'I'll see you in a few'. I heard her laugh from my bed and I got up and watched her climb into her window. I went and hopped into the shower, got ready, and headed down stairs where Jude already waited with my parents.
Jude looked up from her cup of coffee and smiled. She pulled the truck keys from her pocked and dangled them. We smiled at each other and she threw them to me. 'You get to drive' she said. I smirked at her and we grabbed our suitcases and we put them into the bed of the truck.
As we pulled out of the driveway, her mom stood in their yard and waved us off. Jude and I followed my parents minivan to the cabin. The ride consisted of Jude and I laughing and singing out favorite songs. She scooted over and layed her head on my shoulder and we drove until noon, and we were finally there. Jude was asleep on my shoulder. Her big smile still layed across her face. As I turned off the egnition, she woke up and rubbed her eyes and smiled at the water glistening across the lake.
We took our bags up to the cabin and we put them in our rooms, hers was right next to mine, as we had planned. We unpacked and we ate lunch. When we finished, Jude and I raced down to the lake. We sat with on the bank with our feet on the water and watched the sun set reflect off of the water.
My mom and dad had went to dinner in town and we were the only cabin on this lake. Jude stood up and stared at me. I looked at her and she said 'Are you thinking what I'm thinking'. I stared at her questioning what she meant and just and she did, she pulled off her hoodie and her tshirt. She slide off her jeans and smiled. She backed up off of the bank and took off towards the dock. I pulled off my tshirt and my jeans and chased after her. She jumped in and I jumped after her. When I came up, I didn't see her anywhere. For a second I got scared, and then she popped up behind me and hopped up onto my back wrapping her long legs around my torso. She covered my eyes and said 'Guess who' and she laughed.
She climbed off of me. I turned around and stared at her beautiful smile. Her hair shined in the moonlight, and the water reflected off of her eyes. She stared at me, her smile began to fade and she began to bite her lip, as she always did when she got nervous. She slowly moved closer to me. She leaned forward, and she kissed me. It lasted a minute or so, and she backed off quickly. She held her hands together and stared at the water. 'I'm so-' and at that I lifted her chin and pulled her into my kiss. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I placed my hands gently on her hips.
When the kiss had ended she smiled her big beautiful smile at me, and finally it felt right. Everything was perfect. She wrapped her arms back around my neck and whispered 'I'll beat you to the bank' and pushed me under water. She darted through the water to the bank. I climber up onto the peer and raced back up to where our clothes lay. She climbed onto the bank and stood up. She tried to run up to the house, but I caught her in my arms and spun her around, embracing our lips together. I put her down and she smiled at me.
'That's not fair, you cheated.' She whispered.
'Want a rematch?'I returned.
'Lets.' She said as she grabbed her clothes and darted to the house. I chased after her. She got Inside and locked the sliding glass door. I put my hand to the window, and she put her hands over mine. 'Can I please come in' I asked her softly. She stood there and smiled. She cocked her hip and put her finger to her lip pretending to decide, but I already knew what was coming next.
'What would you do for me If I was to be so kind as allow you to come in.' She smirked.
'I'll make us food.'
She giggled. 'Damn you know how to get a girl to cave.' She unlocked the door and ran towards the kitchen. I chased after her and I slid into the wall. I layed there laughing. When she heard the trumo, she turned around and looked at me laying on the ground and died laughing. She laughed so hard she fell on the floor and layed there. We layed on the ground and laughed for 10 minutes. When we finally got up, we went to our rooms.
I layed there staring at the ceiling and she knocked gently at my door and whispered my name. She walked in and crawled under my blankets and she layed next to me.
'I'm sorry, I couldn't sleep. I thought you'd help.
'You can sleep with me if you want.'
She noded and layed on her side facing away from me. She shivered slightly so I embraces her in my arms. My body wrapped around hers as we layed in the night. As I gently knoded off to sleep I realized that Jude had been right, this was going to be the best summer ever.
