Jenna Coleman's POV
As I grabbed my keys and exited the house, I grinned excitedly before throwing my bags in the car.
This was it, I wouldn't be seeing my house for another three months.
If you're wondering what I'm talking about, maybe I should explain. It was recently announced that Doctor Who would be filming a special for the sci-fi show's 60th anniversary, Time Stream and I was chosen to play a supporting role.
I was very excited of course, as we had just wrapped up our ninth season. That meant I was now technically done with Doctor Who, which was sad, but this was sort of one last hurrah.
It didn't feel like I had been on the show for two and a half seasons, because each day was a new adventure and this show had become such a huge part of my life.
Working with Peter was awesome. He was talented, smart and really funny! And we just got along so well, we really were best friends.
On the drive to the studios, I began to feel nervous. The only other actors I would know were Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill. But Karen, Arthur and I had only met once, when we were filming the episode Asylum of The Daleks.
Actually I had met David Tennant and Billie Piper when we were filming the 50th anniversary special.
So remembering the actors I had met helped me to calm down a little. I was mostly excited to read the script and get to know all of the other actors though.
Doctor Who was big, there was no other word to describe it. The production, the cast, the excitement, it was all big!
And finally we were here at the BBC television studios in Cardiff, Wales.
I got out of the car and went inside where I checked in and was handed a lanyard with several ID tags and passes.
The email I had received had told me to go to office 514 for the meeting.
I knew my way around the offices fairly well, since I came here for work every day for the past three years.
Finally I found office 514. I took a deep breath and entered.
"Jenna!" Steven Moffat smiled I grinned and hugged him. As the main writer for the show, we had gotten to know each other pretty well.
"Hello, Jenna!" I looked over to see David Tennant waving at me.
"David, hi!" I went to greet him, "Hey, Karen, Arthur!" I greeted my two former co-stars as well, seeing they were with David.
"So good to see you again!" Karen hugged me.
"It's been so long!" I agreed.
"So how have you been?" Arthur asked.
"Oh you know, really busy wrapping up the season. But I've had some down time this week since we finished the last episode on Monday and now it's Friday. So that's been nice," I replied.
"Nice," Arthur nodded.
"Lovely!" David agreed.
"So, I guess we're the only ones here right now?" I looked around the room, only spotting writers and producers and assistants.
"Yeah, it's just been us three until you came and now we're just waiting for the others," Karen shrugged.
As if on cue, the door opened and in walked Freema Agyeman and Peter.
"Hello!" everyone chorused.
"Hello, everyone!" Freema laughed excitedly and came to give David a hug.
