A year after training, Ging finally allowed me to explore a little before returning to my training.

I am a Transmuter, which doesn't surprise me because I was always able to pull strings and sneak around in my old world and the Hunter world.

Anyways, I stole Ging's Hunter card in the middle of the night and used it to look up Leorio, which was pretty hard, since he's someone who is very... generic. Anyways, I added his address to the list, but at the bottom, because I didn't really like him all that much.

I put the Kurta Clan on the top, because I had a time limit, unlike the others. I would of put Whale Island on top if not. I just love Gon so much!

Anyways, I started out my journey for the Kurta clan!

Well that was a short journey. A few plane and train rides and I was at my destination. It kinda annoyed me how easy it was. Well, my first task was getting past the guards!

I told them that I was just visiting and had no ill intentions, and told them I knew of their eyes and was not afraid. They let me in right away, but had more guards accompany me to make sure I didn't stir up any trouble.

Geez, this is too easy! I was expecting a 'perilous journey.' Maybe the Zoldlock mansion will be harder. Hopefully.

Anyways, I walked down the street of the Kurta village. Everyone seemed so happy, and the guilt of letting them get massacred started to take it's toll on me. I managed to smack some sense into myself.

I visited every house, and made a few friends, but I made sure not to get too close. Until I found Kurapika's house.

I was so close to squealing when I saw pre-teen Kurapika.

Kurapika's parents answered the door, but Kurapika poked his head from in between them, smiling at me.

"Hi! Who are you?" I asked, even though I already knew the answer. He smiled back. "I'm Kurapika! I don't really hang out with kids your age, but you seem fun!" He said.

After that, it was like instant friends.

The guards trusted me after seeing my friendly interactions with everyone, and left me after an hour or so. Now it was just Kurapika and I. We hung out and he showed me some pretty spots in the forest, and the day ended soon. Kurapika let me stay at his house since I didn't have any other place to go.

After a couple weeks, Kurapika started acting a little weird. One day, we went out again as usual, and Kurapika showed me to somewhere different this time. He showed me to a field he liked, and it was really peaceful there. We started up a conversation about the outside world.

"I heard that you live in the outside world, Akiyo. What's it like?" he asked. "Ah, it's fun! But dangerous too. It's like two sides of a shadow. Lots of people are nice, and activities there are fun, but mean and dangerous people who want to hurt others also live there. So I give it a mixed feelings five outa ten."

Kurapika looked at me in amazement. "I wanna go there one day!"

I laughed. "Control those eyes first."

He nodded. "That's a given."

Kurapika suddenly became nervous looking and he pulled out a necklace with a red face.

"E-Even though we're three years apart in age, You're an awesome friend. I've been saying this necklace for someone that I feel this kind of connection. Mom says it's l-love, but I'm not sure yet."

I turned red too. 'R-Reverse harem!!?? No wait, I haven't met the others yet!! But if my life is now a crappy fan fiction, (eh this isn't a crappy fan fiction Akiyo -_-) it's bound to be reverse harem!!'

I took the necklace with gentle hands. It was a chain necklace with a blue crystal pendent on the end of it. "T-Thank you..." I said, as I put it on. "I-I'll wear it everyday!" He smiled though his blush. "R-Really?" "Y-Yeah." I said.

There was a bit of an awkward silence between us for a few minutes. "I-If you ever do come to the outside world, there's a thing called a phone booth. Put these in it," I said, giving him some change.

I then continued. "And punch in these numbers in on the buttons." I said, giving him my number. "You then pick up the phone, a thingy that kinda looks like a banana. Wait for my voice to ask hello to speak. I can help you with anything from there."

He nodded. "Thanks. Does this mean you're leaving?" I nodded. "You've barely stayed!" "I don't have a place to stay..." "Then you can stay with me!" "Really?" "Un!"

It feels different, because the Kurapika in front of me is much happier and easier than the Kurapika in the show. His clan's death really took a toll on him.

Now realizing this, it made me want to warn them even more, but I had to keep it in with clenched teeth.

"Kurapika..." I said, about to tell him. "Yeah?" Kurapika said, smiling at me. 'I don't want him to be worried now, I want him to have as much worry free fun as possible before the massacre. '

'The Kurta clan won't stand a chance even if I do warn them... And if I fight, I won't stand a chance. I haven't made any signature moves yet.'

"Urm, it was nothing," I said, turning my glaze to the ground. "I'll stay with you."

~A month later~

Kurapika introduced me to his other friends, including Pairo. I didn't want to get to close to him like with everyone else that's going to be murdered.

I stayed with Kurapika, and his parents were kind people. I got the guest bedroom, which is quite empty, but now I feel that it's time for me to leave for my other destinations.

It was over midnight, and I mapped my way to Whale Island, and took some snacks for on the road. I left a note for Kurapika, because I was worried he would confess before I left if I gave a proper goodbye.

I wouldn't know how to deal with his confession. God, now I sound like Ging.

I hopped though the window and walked though the sleeping village.

"You're leaving without saying goodbye?"

I whipped around to see Pairo. I smiled at him at hugged him. "Gomen." I stuck out my tongue.

I pulled away and Pairo spoke again. "It'll hurt Kurapika."

"I know. Come, walk with me." Pairo nodded. We walked down the road.

"Kurapika has feelings for me, and I don't know how to take it. I have other places I want to visit, people who I want to see, and having a half accepted confession will weigh me down. I'll be seeing Kurapika one day again, but hopefully he'll give up his confession."

Pairo just gave an "I see"

"Pairo..." I breathed. "I can't hold it in much longer. I have a secret that I must tell you. The truth is, something bad is going to the Kurta. There's a ruthless group called the Phantom Troupe, that's going to kill everyone but Kurapika."

"W-What?" Pairo stuttered out.

"I know, but even if I told everyone, they would all die anyways, for the Phantom Troupe is so terrifyingly powerful that none want to stand against them. So I wanted you guys to live as happy as possible before the massacre."

Pairo smiled at me. "I understand."

"Pairo," I said, facing him. "Promise me that you'll accept your fate when the time does come."

He nodded. "Anything for a friend."

I smiled. "I'll be off."

And with that note, I dashed off so fast that it looked like I just disappeared.

With a weary heart, I headed to Whale Island, hoping to forget most of what happened.
