my eyes adjust to the marron colored walls. another phone call. "hello?" i answer trying to sound awake. "hey ashley sorry to wake you but are you doing anything today? i was thinking i could go with you to one of your parties or-"

"oh my goodness. nicky? is that you? i dont have your caller id yet but i was planning on going out tonight around 9:00 or so. want me to pick you up?" nicole wasnt the one to go to parties with me she would always tell me to put school work first but it seems shes been bored since summer started. We havent talked much until the bell rang off summer excited high schoolers.

"um sure could you pick me up a little earlier? my dad is about to leave and i dont want to be here when he gets back."

is something wrong with nicole if she doesnt want to be with her dad?

"oh sneaky nicole..i like it. i'll be at your house around 8:30. come casual so we can dance. okay bye." nicole giggled then answered," okay thanks see ya soon."

maybe it was nothing. cant wait to have fun tonight.
