In Grandos, there was a house, on a quiet street, lived a family of four (five if you count the dog). The family had a mother, a father and two boys. The youngest was named Jacob, he was quite whiny and irritating. Always complained over nothing. The oldest was named Ethan, he is... err... let's say that he isn't the smartest in the family. Oh yeah, Ethan had special abilities. He was given the power of shapeshifting (and fourth wall breaking). This family lived a normal life. Ethan never used his powers in public a he never thought of himself being something special. Except for one day.
Monday 7:12 PM
The mother of the family was setting the table ready for dinner.
"Boys!" She yelled "Dinner is ready!"
At that moment a big Rhodesian ridgeback sprinted towards the table waiting for someone to give him some food. Jacob stomped towards the table but before he could get through the hallway, the door next to him swung open and hit him in the face and in the door way stood Ethan rushing to the table.
"Ethan!" Jacob yelled in anger "watch where you're going"
"Sorry" Ethan apologized siting down in his seat.
Jacob stomp to the table giving Ethan the look (the bad look)
Dad came to the table and asked
"What's for dinner?"
"Butter chicken" Mum replied
Before anyone could begin to eat, the doorbell rang.
"Are we expecting someone?" the dad ask
"No" Mum said walking to the door
"Be careful" Ethan said "it could be a robot sent from the future to hunt us down like in that movie Alien"
Mum and the rest of the family looked at Ethan Confused
"Wrong movie dummy" Jacob said
"Ethan" Mum said "What did we say about you speaking?"
"Only say it if it makes sense" Ethan replied
The doorbell rang again, the mum then took her attention on the door and opened it to see a man in a leather coat and leather hat.
"Hello" The man said
"He's a detective" Ethan said
Dad then got up from his seat to see the man.
"My name is Jim Rhigas" He said
"Hi my name is..." the dad was about to finish when Jim interrupted
"Greg Danjkov and you're his wife Racheal" Jim said shaking Greg's hand
"How do you know are names?" Greg asked
"I'm from the government to tell you about a school for kids with special abilities, like your son Ethan" Jim said
Ethan and Jacob were listening to the man.
"A school for kids like me?" Ethan whispered.
"How come you're the lucky one?" Jacob said
"Will it be safe?" Mum ask
"Of course!" Jim said "I'm one of the teachers so I'll keep an eye on him if you want"
"He'll put an eye on me?" Ethan said confused "why? I don't need a third eye. I think"
"No you idiot" Jacob said face palming "he means he's going to watch you"
"Oh" Ethan replied "That's creepy"
