Thursday 5:30 AM
In the school everyone was asleep except for Ethan and Jess who were in the medical room where Ethan was before when he was in a coma. Jess was messing around with machines as Ethan was sitting in a chair with wires attached to him.
"So what are we doing?" Ethan asked
"I'm checking to see if you are 100% alright" Jess replied
"100%?" Ethan asked confused "Please no ones that perfect"
"Ok then I'm checking to see if you will be um" Jess said thinking "70% alright"
"That's good enough for me" Ethan said
"Ok now I need you to breathe in and out" Jess said
Ethan then breathed in and out as results appeared on Jess's monitor.
"Uh oh" Jess said looking at the results
"What is it?" Ethan asked
"Err... nothing" Jess replied nervously
"Can I see?" Ethan said hoping off the chair
"Sure just one second" Jess said writing something on her monitor with a black pen "Ok you can look now"
Ethan then went over to the monitor to see Jess had written "100% ok" on it but he didn't pick it up.
"Hay look I am that perfect" Ethan said
"Yeah you sure are" Jess said nervously
"Well it's five in the mourning and I'm hungry" Ethan said walking away
"Wait Ethan" Jess said
"Yeah?" Ethan asked turning back
"Um" Jess said thinking "You've been a good friend"
"Well thank you madam" than said shapeshifting a hat on his head and tipping it before leaving
"Oh this is bad" Jess said as Ethan left the room
Meanwhile in the kitchen
Ethan entered the kitchen to see Jackson arm wrestling Tara on the table.
"Give up!" Jackson said "You can't win"
"We'll see about that" Tara said trying to get Jacksons hand to go down
"You too look so cute together" Ethan said
"What?" Tara said confused
"Aha!" Jackson said slamming Tara's hand down "Wait what?"
"Never mind" Ethan said opening he fridge "Whoa a chocolate cookie"
Ethan then reached the chocolate cookie from the fridge but then felt massive pain in his heart.
"Oh heart attack!" Ethan said stumbling backwards into a table
"Ethan are you alright?" Jackson said getting up and helping Ethan up
"What happened?" Tara asked
"I think my heart just got squished" Ethan replied
"Well you look fine" Jackson said
"Just excuse me for a moment" Tara said leaving the kitchen in a rush
"Oh boy that felt weird" Ethan said walking to the fridge again
"Ethan you might need to see Jess about that" Jackson said
"Naw I'm good" Ethan said eating a cookie
"Well take care" Ethan said leaving the kitchen
Ethan then left the kitchen and walked to his dorm as his heart felt like it was being squished again.
