By the time I got home my hair was a giant frizz ball. My mum even had the decency to laugh! One more day of school then it’s the weekend
Oh! Man its Cheryl party on Saturday I need to think of a killer outfit (and present)
Hopefully Jonny will be there, so I’ll dress to impress.
Making my way up to the school doors, thankfully this morning Jack wasn’t there. But unfortionly Hannah and the rest of the cheerleaders were there.
The news of mine and Jacks argument didn’t take long to spread and now the gossipers of the school were going to come to me for more information.
I used to be a pom dancing cheerleader but quit after my dad died. He was the one who encouraged me to follow my dreams and take chances, that’s how I got on the squad.
When I first came to the school, my only dream was to be flung into the air and caught by a strong male. (In a tight uniform)
Tears pricked my eyes with the loving memory of my dad, my best friend.
We did everything together when mum was busy with work.
As my thoughts got deeper and deeper, I hadn’t realized that the cheerleaders had got nearer and nearer.
“Is it true? Did Jack hit you?”
“What? No!”
“Some say he tried to rape you!”
“Oh my! No! Jacks a creep sometimes but, no way would he do that!”
Were these the things spreading through the school behind my back! (Not what I was expecting!)
I cleared it up the best I could, but these cheerleaders were not having none of it.
I could tell that they were disappointed in my answers of the truth. But I wasn’t bothered if they were happy or not.
The bell went ending our discussion (thankfully) as I turned around to head inside, a figure caught my eye.
Squinting my eyes to see, right at the end of the car park, leaning on the school gates was Jonny.
All cool, dressed all in black (looking from fit in his jeans may I add) crossed arms and legs with this little smirk on his face.
He had obviously been there the whole time, to observe my brief encounter with Hannah and the rest of the cheerleaders.
We stared at each other for what felt like hours but I’m sure it wasn’t. As the bell was still going off, it wasn’t long before a stampede of students pushed and shoved me out of the way.
When I looked back to where Jonny had been, he was no where to be found.
For all I knew he could have been one of the people to push past me. He had told me that he wanted to get to know me, and I definitely want to get to know him.
Friday was long and boring, Jonny crept into my mind a lot today but I never actually saw him.
When I asked around about him people knew as much as much about him as I did.
But then they just bombarded me with other questions about Jack and about the rumours that were flying around.
Getting back to the present it was party time! And even though becks said she was ill yesterday and didn't come to school. But that hadn't stopped her from pulling out all the stops on her outfit
As tonight was her "special" night with trever (eruhh!)
I got to admit, I didn't look so bad myself. In my designer little black dress mum had got me as a guilt present for missing my sports award event.
