The dark sky swallows the land, the stars twinkling just to stand out, the cool breeze makes the night feel magical but obviously it would feel more magical if Aaron was sharing the night on his balcony gazing up at the shining stars thinking maybe Morgan's mum is up there shinning with them and hoping to God someone he knew isn't and is down under him rotting away on hell.

Aaron always notices Morgan's mood chances dramatically when she talks about her mother, she goes silent, a painful look in her eye, but as if Aaron couldn't read her eyes and tell what she was thinking about, God she must think he's stupid, because eyes say it all when the mouth is not allowed to speak.

Aaron takes a final sip of his drink and begin to head back into his warm, spacious, too big for one person kind of apartment. To be honest, he's never actually understood why it was called an apartment, because apartments or flats or whatever you call them are actually together, not apart, so why are they called apartments?

Anyway he chucks his now empty drink glass into the dishwasher and wanders around his lonely home, how he wishes someone would accompany him.

He wishes Morgan would be with him but that pushes things a bit quick and she's already pretty fragile at the moment, he doesn't want to scare her off, he wants to be more than just friends though.

Friends, just friends, that's all it'll ever be, just friends. Even behind those feelings and those looks, those dreams and those wishes, those plans and the texts and signals and even behind the flirting all it'll ever be with Aaron and Morgan will always be just friends, because she's the fragile girl he's to scared to break into pieces and he's the famous boy the press will rip onto shreads. And he doesn't want that at all.

"Oi Rambo, wait up!" a soft voice said as the young blonde boy runs up to Aaron from behind.

It's a Tuesday evening and the boys have juts finished their evening training.

"Hey Cal." Aaron mentally cringes at the nickname he just gave his fellow teammate because no one calls him that.

"Cal? Serious?" Calum laughs.

"Sorry mate I'm just a bit tired." Aaron sighs, he's been trying really hard in training but somethings been holding him back, it's either his past been brought back up or Morgan, yep most likely Morgan!

The other boys have realised that Aaron hasn't been himself recently but none dare to ask what's wrong, yes the boys play together, yes they have fun and all that and act like brothers but hey brothers have to keep some secret, right?

"Say, how's Morgan? We haven't seen her recently and you seem to be talking to her a lot. Are you two official yet?" Calum questions.

"Official?! " Aaron's head snaps up and looks at him. "no, we're j-just friends!"

"Rightt. " Calum gives Aaron a suspicious looks with a smirk. " So does she have a boyfriend? "

Aaron's heart drops a little knowing that because him and Morgan are quite close everyone and her probably thinks all they are are just friends and Calum has a massive chance with her, he's good looking, young, they get on well and their both single. It's one of those situations where if Aaron lies Calum might end up being hurt and disappointed and he can't be on Calum's bad side but if he tells the truth he might end up with a broken heart as he watches Morgan and Calum be together, but right now he's got to think of others before himself right now, unfortunately.

"No mate, she doesn't have a boyfriend." Aaron croaks.

"Oh great! Do you think I have a chance then?" jesus he's pretty oblivious isn't he? Aaron thinks and mentally rolls his eyes.

As they exit the training ground and reaches the car park Aaron stops and looks at Calum, he places a hand on the blonde lads shoulder and says, "course you do mate. I'll see you tomorrow Cal." Aaron teases as he walks off to his car leaving the younger boy grinning, yes he had to think of others before him, it's the best thing right now even of its going to hurt, but oh well, pain doesn't last forever! He hopes.

Aaron gets into his car, turns on his radio and drives off back to his Warm cosy home, through the darkness of the night and straight to his familiar town.

Finally he parks outside his apartment building and heads inside, carefully opening the door and chucking his keys on the side as he makes his way in, he quickly gets changed and just sits in bed, not even bothering to get up and go get some food.

Who can be bothered when you've just sat down in you're nice warm, comfy big, that's to big for one person, bed.

Even if you're stomach is growling like crazy and your brain is telling you that you're craving every kind of food epically pizza, because who doesn't like pizza?

But Aaron has just come back from a hard training session where he knows he should really eat something but is too lazy and tired to actually get up and make something healthy became be knows he should or even get a bad, unhealthy snack which he know is bad but he just has no motivation to actually get up off his ass and walk a little way a way to the kitchen and grab something so all he does is sit there, staring at the door opposite him, inagioning of the funny, Sarcastic blonde girl was with him right now and for a glimpse of a second he sees her, God he really must be tired, he's seeing things now, he really does need to get to sleep.

So Aaron grabs his phone to check one last time before he drifts off and surprisingly he actually has a text.

FROM MORGAN

Hey, do you want to hang out tomorrow? Xx

A smile forms on Aaron's face and the first thought that pops into his head is, oh yeah, screw you Calum! But he just shakes off that thought and replies to the text.

TO MORGAN

Would love to. Xx

And with that Aaron puts down his phone, turns off his lights, and drifts off to sleep dreaming of some certain plans he has made with a certain someone who chose him over a certain someone else!
