9) Goodbye

My eyes widened and I stumbled back, tripping. Then familiar arms caught me and I knew who it was.

I could barely make out Jc's sheepish expression in the dark.
"You - you .." I stammered, looking at him, my heart racing. His lips had just been on mine. A blush rose to my cheeks, but I doubt he could even see it in the dark.

"I know, I just .. sorry, I don't know why I even ---"

He was so cute when he was nervous, that I didn't even think about my next move. It was my turn to interrupt him this time, I pressed my lips to his. He was stiff at first, but then he softened up and began to kiss me back as his arms held my waist.

He moved his lips against mine in such a way that I felt like I would burst. He slipped his tongue inside my mouth, but at the same time he was so gentle and sweet.

Then, the lights came back and camera lights were on us.

"SURP -- riseee ..?" They all shouted as their voices began to lower at the sight of us. They were all wide eyed until Kian broke the silence.

"Finally !" He quipped as he walked over to give Jc a high five. Brianna was smirking at me and the awkwardness began to subside.

"We have that on camera!" Sam shouted, with a devious smirk. I smacked my forehead with my hand, turning red. From my peripheral vision I could see that Jc looked just as flustered.

I could see Jenn's stare from the corner of the room, but honestly when I looked this time, I didn't see jealousy in her eyes, I saw a worry and a confusion that I couldn't place.

"Oh my god it's 4:00 o clock! Brianna shouted, my eyes widened. We had to pack and leave for our flight.

"Guys .. we're gonna go pack, okay?" I told them all.

"Our flight leaves a little after yours, so we'll go with you to the airport." Said Jc.

"Meet you in a few," I told them as we walked out of their suite.

Once me and Bri had all of our stuff, we met everyone downstairs and walked to the airport not far from the hotel.

I had so much stuff in my hand it was insane, then I had to tie my shoe.

"Let me hold that for you," Jc offered, grabbing my big video camera from my hand. I smiled at him gratefully as I watched him rap the straps around his neck to let the camera hang.

We finally made it and our flight was leaving soon so we had to part ways. That's when my sadness sunk in.

Me and Brianna smiled tightly at the amazing group of people before us, I wished we could at least board the same flight.

I gave them all hugs goodbye, Jenn actually waved at me and sent me a forced smile. I tried to hide my surprise when she did that, but I think it took everyone aback.

"bye Jc," I told him finally, the words hung around us both like a dark cloud.

Okay maybe I was being dramatic, but I couldn't help but feel like we really connected in our three short days together.

He looked at me and gave me a small smile. Then he pulled me in for a hug that was so warm and satisfying, I didn't want to pull away. "Bye Lacey, ill miss you." He finally said, then smirked. I wanted to kiss him, one last time but I didn't think it was appropriate.

We said our final goodbyes to everyone else and then me and Brianna headed to the entrance.

I looked back one last time and Jc ran up to me.

"One last hug," he mumbled pulling me close to him.

Then, he kissed me so fast I thought I imagined it, no one else even seemed to notice. But I was so glad to feel his lips one last time.

With a satisfied smile, I boarded the plane, with Brianna by my side.

What a weekend.
