Chapter 11
No Way and Don't Cry
Infinity's POV
"Uncle Simon?" I asked again.
Everyone stood in shock looking at one another. Their face was confuse but then it hit them. Their mouth were shaped as an 'Oh'.
"Infinity.um it...it can't be you." he said rising from his chair.
"Simon...what's going on?" Liam asked sternly.
"Well boys sit down and I can explain. What I know." he replied still I shock because of me.
They all sat down on the couch that was in front of the desk. I went and crawled into Zayn's lap. He gladly accepted it by bringing me closer to his chest and kindly rocking me back and forth. I sat their with my eyes shut trying to relax like it wasn't happening. But we all know,....it was.
"Well you see I'm her dad' brother. He is my only brother since out oldest brother died at the age of 21 at war. Since he died my mother decided it would be okay to kill herself by jumping off the bridge into the jagged rocks of the sea. Since we use to live in America, we decided to just move states since we couldn't stand being where our mother killed herself. We moved to the UK and we shared a home. I got a job as a banker and all that stuff. When I noticed every night he would come home late, drunk. Since he was old enough to drink." Drink and beer....;bad memories!
"Then we became at least 23 and he started to date this girl. That's when he stopped drinking. They were the cutest couple ever. I just complimented it and always ask how she is and stuff. Then about a year later things were getting heated by them to. They started to go with each other. Then day as I was studying for out new blueprints, I could hear stuff through the walls. I left that night with my worker friends so I can just relax. That happened all that week." Some of the guys started to laugh but Uncle Simon stopped them.
"So months passed then I heard that she was pregnant. Yes pregnant, but they were that couple who we all thought they were going to have a wonderful life. So of course we waited until the baby was born. But they moved out of the house so the baby would have its own room.
Then the baby was born fellas. All their friends and some of mine were at the hospital. The baby was a girl and named Infinity." I flinched as he said my name.
Zayn shushed me and rocked me a bit slower. I felt him kiss my head. I smiled and cuddled right in the middle of his chest.
"Anyways when we were at the hospital we found out something. That she had,....cancer. It hit us hard but hit Jared harder! You see boys when your older with all those hormones and anger you can't think. So he left the hospital and went and got drunk. That whole time he did the doctors said that she can be release and can die at home." he said all depress.
Like I said before, when I think about my old bad daddy, I get tummy aches.
"So a year passed and she and Jared treated Infinity like she was their world. They always invited me for dinners and lunches. he said getting emotional.
I had tears stinging my eyes. I couldn't cry now, not in front of Uncle Simon."
"I saw little Infinity there when she said her last words. It broke my heart. I just can't stand being surrounded my depression I just can't. So soon I moved out and found work here." he said clearing his throat.
That's all! He doesn't know about my abusive life? Well...what know.
"So Jared is where now?" Louis asked.
"To be honest. I never heard if him or contacted him since then." he confesses.
There was silence. Then suddenly Liam said something.
"Let's look him up. To see if he can visit. Maybe he gave up Infinity because he couldn't provide for her." he smiled.
If only he knew. Uncle Simon smiled and wink. He rolled to his computer. I still am snuggled deep in Zayn's chest. Typing, Simon clicked something then smiled. But it quickly turned into a frown and then shock. I swear, I saw tears streaming down his face. He went and looked at me and just hid his face in his hands.
The boys hot concern and went up to the computer except for Zayn. They turn to computer to us. In big bold letters under his picture said:
Name: Jared Richard Cowell
Age: 36
Birthdate: August 7, 1976
Location: West County Jail House
Reason: Child abuse on Infinity Cowell
Family: Infinity Cowell, Simon Cowell, and Carmon Cowell
After they had all read it they cried. Like really cried! Then when they all finished they stood up and looked down on me and Zayn.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Louis sniffed.
I went in Zayn's chest and started to bawl. I CNAT tell them anymore. They know too much. Way too much!!
