Once Raze squad had gathered its self again, and we had congratulated each other on not being dead, we headed to where Dr.Anders pelican had just touched down.

Seconds later a single person emerged from the Pelican.

What stood before us was a fairly young woman, maybe in her mid-twenties, who was about my height with a small frame and pale complexion and seemed to be if Asian ancestry.

Though her head was covered by her snow cap, a few strands of straight brown hair were still visible.

"Hello Dr.Anders Welcome to Harvest," Mark said while saluting.

"Professor Anders" she replied quickly "doctor reminds me too much of 'that' woman."

The annoyance and resentment in her voice as she spat 'that woman' undeniable. Can only imagine what the person must have done for her to boycott an entire title because it reminded her of them.

"Umm, ok Professor" Mark said with a look of confusion plastered on his face.

"So what's the situation and when can we head in," she said quickly, changing the subject while looking up ahead at the entrance to the structure.

"Sgt.Forge is already inside with two other squads clearing up any stragglers left behind and we have the go ahead to head inside as soon as your ready" Mark replied.

"In that case what are we waiting on."

Soon we were entering the mouth of the structure that, at first glance, just seemed to be an enormous hole in the side of a mountain, but upon closer inspection revealed a fascinating and deliberate design that made it quite obvious that it was a man-made structure.

The design seemed ancient and futuristic at the same time, with metallic gray walls that were filled will strange glyphs carved into them and small rows of white lights all over.

This definitely wasn't of covenant design; lacking the covenants signature purple color scheme and smooth design which could be seen on everything's they used or built from their small ghost to their largest cruisers.

No this was much more rigid and geometrical; with many sharp turns and angled walls. This wasn't built by the Covenant. It was as older. And at the same time seemed even more advance.

"Seth you might wanna close your mouth before you start catching flies," Dave said while hitting me in the back a bit harder than was necessary.

"His jaw should be all the way down to the floor" Professor Anders interjected quickly "You are one of the few people to ever step foot inside the ruins of possibly the greatest civilization that has ever inhabited the Galaxy"

"Really?!" Alex blurted out "who?"

Professor Ander's face beamed with excitement and she open her mouth to answer but after a second of hesitation her face twisted into an expression of frustration.

"That's classified" she replied coldly

"Oh" Alex replied, his voice filled disappointment

"Ah Your an ONI scientist aren't you" Luke answered with a bit of annoyance
