"W-w-what?" the tears were welling up and I started shaking, "Elle, p-please, let me explain." everything was a blur, I started to feel dizzy and the World was closing in. I needed to leave. As I stood up I felt Dan's hand on my shoulder and flinched at the touch, I ran and kept going. The looks I was getting didn't matter, I needed air, I needed to think.

I woke up in a sweat, thank goodness, it must have been a dream. My eyes still closed a put my hand to the space next to me expecting Dan to be by my side.. but he wasn't. I opened my eyes and looked around, this was my bedroom in my parents house? So it wasn't a dream. I stood up to look in my old mirror to see someone almost unrecognizable, my hair still damp from the rain last night and tangled mess. Mascara stained cheeks, red puffy eyes. Still dressed in that tight bodycon I wore for Phil's leaving party, well.. I guess it was Dan's too, only no one told me. I walked out of my bedroom and went downstairs to see Martyns car parked in the drive, but my parents weren't. "Martyn?" I called walking to the kitchen, "Hey Elle" he smiled, "how's my little sis?" he pulled me into a hug, and I tried not to break down. I mean my bestfriend left for London & my own boyfriend dumped me, why didn't I wait? He could have given me a reason, but I just left. "You should give Phil a ring, he's been worried sick." Martyn suggested to which I nodded & went back to my room. I looked at my phone

Dan: I don't want to leave without knowing you're okay
Dan: I can't explain why I did what I did in a text, please.. just ring me. I need to know you're okay. I love you ;'(
Phil: Little lion, where are you?
Phil: What's the jerk done he's locked himself in his room and all I can hear is sobbing, everyone's left. Please come back, I want to say goodbye.
Phil: Elle, this isn't funny you're scaring me.
Phil: That's it, I'm coming out to find you. Are you at mums?!
Phil: ELLE PICK UP YOUR PHONE
Phil: He's an idiot, please come back?
Phil: You can come with us just answer me.
Phil: You're not holding us back, you need to understand.
Phil: Dan just told me what happened, there's more to it than you think, please contact one of us?
Phil: I love you little lion, chin up.
Phil: I just spoken to Martyn, call me as soon as you're up.
Phil: Dan needs to explain himself to you.
Phil: We're leaving rn, I love you lots, don't do anything silly little lion.
Phil: Dan still loves you.
NEW MESSAGE FROM - Phil^-^ : We're on our way over, idc if you don't want to see him, I need to say goodbye, you're my sister, more like a bestfriend.. I'm not just going to leave you.
