Chapter 13

I was waiting for Scott to come when door knocked and Avi walked in. It's been two days since the last time I saw him and it was the day he kissed me and left me speechless.

I didn't say anything and watched him sit next to my bed. "Hey Kirstie." he smiled at me. I didn't respond for a while. He kissed me but acting like it was nothing. It was something. But maybe that was the best. Forgetting it and act like it didn't happen.

His lips didn't touch mine and I didn't feel electric shocks in my whole body. My heart didn't beat faster and my palms didn't sweat. I didn't have a dream about us kissing and didn't feel bad when I woke up in empty cold bed. It was nothing but only skin touch two people shared. It was just as simple as touching hands.

"Why are you here? " my voice was colder than I wanted it to be. He took movies he got for me from my night stand. "I came here to watch something with my favourite queen."

I understand he wants to fix things between us but I don't think it'll be that easy. He attacked me and almost killed me! Then kissed me..

"Sure." I nodded. Other thing is I couldn't stay cold toward him. I watched him as he looks through movies. "Which one? " he asked to me. I wanna play dirty. "I already saw all Harry Potter movies. Fifty Shades Of Grey sounds cool. " he nodded and put it on.

He sat on chair which was next to my bed. He'd have took the sofa but I guess he wanted to be close to me. The chair was uncomfortable but I didn't care. It's his decision.

"I had a girlfriend called Anna but she wasn't like that. Ya know what I mean.. " I was watching the movie and didn't want anyone to disturb me. Especially Avi and his sex life. "I don't need to know your sex life." I spat at him.

He got up and sat next to me wrapping an arm around my shoulders. He gently pulled me close to him and I rested my head to his chest. "Comfy? " he smiled down at me and I nodded. I lost all of my interest on movie and listened Avi's heart beats. I looked up at him. His eyes were locked on screen as he played with my hair. I snuggled into his chest and inhaled his scent. It was so sweet.

"When will you find your love, Kirstie?" his sudden question got me off guard and I thought a little. "Love is not for me." I sighed and closed my eyes. Maybe he stops asking if he thinks I'm asleep?..

"Love is for everybody. Maybe love is so close to you but you are blind to love" he pressed his forehead against me. "All you have to do open your eyes and see the love."

"I don't want love. I'm scared." I softly said. "When I'm with you, nobody can hurt your love ones." his breathe washed my face. I slowly opened my eyes. His face were only a few inches away from mine.

"What if something happens to you? " I basically said that I love him. He smiled. "It won't happen when you're with me. Because you give me life energy."

He closed the space between us and our lips locked. It wasn't a quick peck like last time. It was long and passionate kiss. Our lips moved in sync and fit perfectly together. Our tongue fought for dominance till I gave in. I hated needing air and pulled away. Our foreheads were pressed as we breathed heavily.

Yes.. I do have feelings for him. I tried to resist this feelings. I tried to escape but soon I understood my heart is faster than me.

When I opened my eyes, he was looking at me with a stupid smile on his face. "I love you Kirstie."

"I l-llo.." I looked down. "I care for you Avi." he pouted like a child and came closer if it's possible. "Say the word, Kirstie."

I looked into his eyes. The eyes I love. I can say. I will say it for him. 

"I love you, Avi." he smiled big.

I fall asleep in his arms and had the best sleep after a long time.

I'm stubborn, he's stubborn. Love is the most stubborn.
