"Do you know anything that happened to Y/N in the past 7 years?" Jungkook asked, reaching for his hot coffee cup that they just had ordered, before you went to the toilet.

He took a sip, looking at Wendy, who tried to put stone face, acting as if she didn't understand what Jungkook was saying.

"I don't know what you--"

"How long have you been friend with her?"Jungkook asked, cutting her. He put down the cup and wrapped his arms over his chest, leaning backwards on the chair.

"6 years?" Wendy said, tilting her head to the side as if she was trying to remember. "6 years and half? It was around that range. When she wanted to release her first book."

"So you know her very well?" Jungkook asked, and Wendy nodded.

"Yeah. More than you think."

"Then you can help me, can't you?" Jungkook observed the way, Wendy's eyebrows raised and met together in a slight frown.

"What do you want from me?" Wendy said in an annoying tone.

"Well, if you care, you will help. Actually, you must help me for your friend's safety." Jungkook said, leaning forward on the table. He waved to Wendy to come closer so he could tell her something. Wendy gulped before leaning to Jungkook. Her heart almost stopped from the closeness between them.

"Y/N is keeping something" Jungkook whispered in Wendy's ears, sending chills down her spines. "And I think you knew that thing, too. I don't know why she's so afraid to tell me. So I need you to tell me. What did Y/N use, in her recent book?"

Leaning again against the chair's back. Jungkook smirked as he reached for the cup and sipped some, knowing that Wendy's heart was beating fast by now.

Wendy was frozen in her place, her mouth slightly opened. Letting out a faint laughter, she straightened her back and said, "She used her mind, in the wrong way possible."

"What do you mean?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow, putting the cup down. Hands cupped it, letting its warmth hitting his palm.

"She wrote something without getting permission." Wendy said, flickering her blond strands backward over her shoulder, crossing her legs and getting confidence in her voice. "Using some names of real people, without an agreement from their owner, and even wrote about their life..." --she smiled-- more like, smirked-- "she said it's all her imagination, her story, her own pure ability in the interviews. She lied and said it was a pure coincidence."

"She didn't give credits?" Jungkook wondered and Wendy shook her head, smiling.

"You didn't get my point, Y/N used to have a friend. She was also Yugyeom's girlfriend. She used to live with Y/N before she moved into her new apartment. She found her dead in her room."

Jungkook's mouth dropped, not imagine how you would react, at a sight like this. Slowly he came to understand what Wendy meant. You used your friend's murder in your own story, telling a story of someone who was already dead, without getting permission. "Huh..." That was the only word skipped his mouth. A list of suspects started to form in his mind. And that name that he didn't believe should be on the list, topped it. Yugyeom!

His memory ran back to the note card and the letter in the book. 'Why did you use this? It's your fault' 'I learned a lot from it. It was a great change in my life.' He never meant to show his love to you. It was just a way to hide his true intention. Revenge!

But why? It's not like Y/N killed her, right?

"That's the worst thing Y/N had ever done in her whole life." Said Wendy, snapping Jungkook from his analyzing mind. He needed to know more before putting assumptions.
