I'm Leaving

Greyson was the first to wake among the three.

"Morning Grey!" I said before I shoved down another handfull of cereal.

"Hey. What's that?" He asked.

"Breakfast." I answered with my mouth half-filled with my 'breakfast'.

"Cereal?" He asked while he stood up.

"Yup." I said simply. He held my wrist and led me downstairs.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"Oh, uhhh...I just wanted to eat breakfast with you here downstairs." He explained and let go of my wrist.

"Don't you put milk with that?" He asked. He must think I'm weird.

"I do, sometimes but I felt like shoving a whole box of cereal down my throat. Well, not literally." I said as I shoved another handfull.

"I'm leaving today." Greyson informed me. Oh, yeah...that was today.

"You're leaving?!?" someone shouted from behind us.

-----Fast Forward-----

At the airport...

"Bye, Grey! We're gonna miss you. Keep my Ying-Yang." I said my last goodbye before he headed to his plane. The plane flew off and we went to McDonalds for lunch. I don't really like it there but I just went along.

We finished eating our lunch and headed to Alli and Cody's home. We talked about our funny moments and things that they don't know and stuff. I kept thinking about how they would feel if I go somewhere far from them just for education. Should I tell them or not? Scratch that thought. Of course I'd tell them. They would hate me if I just ran away.

"Kim, you fine?" Alli asked. She must've noticed me deep in thought.

"Yeah. I'm fine." I told her.

"C'mon tell me what you were thinking." She demanded.

"I'm going abroad and won't come back 'till Christmas." I whispered in Alli's ear. "Pass it on." I whispered again to let Cody know.

Alli leaned in to Cody and whispered in his ear. Cody's face went from :) to :( He looked at me with sadness. Oh great, just great.

"What for?" Cody asked breaking the silence in the air.

"School." I simply answered with my head down.

"Why not just here? When?" He asked two questions in one.

"Well, I got accepted and I'm leaving next week." I said sadly.
