Luke POV

I scratched my eye and sat down at the table that Ari had got at lunch, it was her birthday and my Mum and Dad are at a wedding that I wasn't invited to for some reason so we're having a party at my house.

"I can't believe we met Michael a week ago." I grinned sitting across from her and pulling my lunch box out my bag.

"I don't want to speak about that." She shook her head and pulled out money from her bag.

"Why not?" I furrowed my eyebrows. "That was like, the best moment of my life!"

"Yeah well I don't have a life anymore I told him I was dying."

"Oh shut up Ariana! you're lucky to have met him so stop complaining!!" I shook my head in disgust and started to eat my jam roll. "Oh there's Eva. HEY HEY EVA!!! EVAAAA!!!" I waved at Eva who was across the lunch hall.

Eva saw us and walked over with some guy who looked way too old for her. Wait, Michael is 3 years older than me.

"Hello, this is Ashton." Eva grinned and sat down next to Ari as Ashton sat next to me.

Holy shit he was hot.

"I'm Ariana." Ari grinned, it's only me who can call her Ari and get away with it, she'll slap anyone else.

"Nice, what's your name?" Ashton smiled and looked at me.

"I'm Luke and aren't you a little too old to be si-"

"I'm a senior." Ashton giggled.

he fucking giggled

"I'm new though and since all the other guys in my year just smoke and drink I thought I'd hang around with some younger kids." he nodded and took a sip of his water.

"Oh we don't smoke." Ari nodded. She wasn't lying to him, she just forgot to mention the fact that she's probably got a bottle of vodka hidden in the bottom of her bag for the party tonight.

"Yeah." Ashton smiled at me, oh my god he has such a pretty smile.

"Come with me so I can buy a burger?" Ari asked me.

"Did you not bring your own food." I shook my head.

"Luke please." She sighed, did I upset her or something what the heck.

"Okay..." I stood up and looked down at Ashton and Eva. "We will be back."

I wandered off with Ari and stood in the line and just burst out laughing.

"What?" She looked at me with crossed arms as she leaned against the wall.

"He was so pretty!! Did you see his eyes, and his smile!! His eyes light up when he smiled oh my god did you see his dimples." I gushed over Ashton. It's nice to actually talk about boys without being embarrassed. I haven't really 'came out' yet but I just want to make sure I actually am gay and it's not a phase or whatever.

"Are you talking about yourself or Ashton?" Ari raised her eyebrows at me.

We've always flirted with each other. Well not really flirted because we're just friends but she's been acting like she's into me since the day we met. Which it's obvious she's not since if she was then we would've hooked up by now and we obviously haven't, but it's fine because I'm saving myself for michael.
