I sit at home alone for the whole day... It's a usual thing nowadays. He works all the time now... We argue a lot... He started drinking.. I don't know. I've been stressed out a lot lately. I just wanna give up.. Wait maybe it'll get better.
Brantley walks through the door, I smell whiskey on his breath... Of course...
I look at his ring finger.. The ring isn't there. I pull in for a hug and reach into his pocket, and I pull out the ring. Wow. "Why'd you take it off?!?" I yell at him. "I didn- I-I" he stutters. "Excuses, you don't know? Whatever, I know you cheated, what did I do?" I cry. "I didn't cheat" he says. "Bullcrap" I remark. "I'll admit, I almost did, but I love you" he said. "Whatever, if you love me, you wouldn't even think about it..I'm done with you.." I shout crying.... "I'm sorry." He whispers. "You're Sorry?!? That doesn't cut it, I sat here everyday cleaning, cooking, and did everything for you, what did you do for me?!? You cheat." I yell. "You wanna be like that? Okay then. You'll be the one crawling back though. You always have something to argue about, and I'm sick of it, you're done? Me too." He shouts "i guess there's a deadbeat dad" I mutter under my breath. "What?" He shouts. "I'm pregnant!" I yell. He looks at me shocked.....
