I smiled widely at the nurse. "You excited?" She asked. "I am, and nervous," I chuckled. She smiled at me and began putting some cold stuff on my stomach, "that's normal."
I smiled at the ultra sound picture with the sex of my baby on it. I couldn't have been any happier even if I had the other gender. "You seem happy," the nurse smiled. "Very much," I smiled with tears in my eyes.
"Where's Cameron?" She asked. "Cam? He's in the lobby," I smiled picking up a bracelet out of my pocket and placing it on my wrist. "We made a deal. He was gonna sit outside while I found out the gender and I put on one of these bracelets to show what gender the baby was. He even had the names in graved," I told her.
"Oh, that's great! Great name!" She smiled. "Yeah, it is," I smiled at my bracelet. "I bet Cameron will be happy no matter what the gender is. Have a great day, Jasmine. Good luck with the baby. I'll see you soon." She smiled, sending a small wave.
I walked out of the room and had my hand over my wrist to hide the gender. Finally I saw Cameron and his eyes lit up. "So?" He asked excitedly. I gave him a smile and removed my hand. "Be ready to meet Rosalie Grace Dallas."
~~~
Being four months pregnant wasn't hard. But there was bumps in the road. My feet swelled, I still had morning sickness, and don't get me started on the cravings.
"Cameron, could you bring me some food?" I yelled. "Here's some ice cream and pickles," he sighed rushing to my side. "Thanks baby," I smiled kissing his cheek.
"When's sissy gonna be here?" Dylan asked, sitting beside me. "About six months," I giggled. "Ugh, that's too long. I'm ready to play horses," she smiled. I giggled at her and wrapped my arm around her. "Silly, you won't be able to play until a couple of years." She gave me a funny look and smiled. "That's okay, I can wait." She smiled, laying her head on me. I looked at my bracelet and played with the name. "I can't," I whispered, smiling.
~~~
I walked to the door to see who had knocked. I opened the door to see a smiling but also nervous Taylor. "Hi, Tay," I gave him a confused look.
"Hey, Jasmine. I was just gonna apologize for the way I acted earlier. I shouldn't have went off like that. So, here's an apology gift. It's not much, but it's something for you and the baby, well, Dylan and the baby." He smiled.
I looked at the bad wrapped gift and a smile came to my face. I looked at Taylor and smiled. "Come in!" I grabbed his hand and led him to the couch.
"What's he doing here?" Cameron rolled his eyes. "Cameron, be nice. He came to apologize and he brought me a gift." I informed him. He nodded and smiled, "Thank you, Taylor. I can tell it's made her day," Cameron smiled at Taylor and walked away into the kitchen.
I opened the gift and saw a picture frame that had a picture of Dylan's ultrasound. It's funny how I remember what hers looks like.
Then one of the ultra sound picture of rose. Each had a pink ribbon on the side with a white frame. Then that's when Taylor spoke, "I saw you tweet about her," he smiled.
I looked at Taylor with tears and my eyes and smiled. I jumped into his arms and smiled. "Thank you, Taylor. This really means a lot," I smiled.
~~~
I sat the frame up in the living room for everyone to see when they walked in. Cameron liked it too.
I really appreciated that Taylor did that when this isn't even his child. He had a choice and he choose that.
"Taylor, you can come up and see the baby anytime. Thank you for what you do for me," I smiled and hugged him. He smiled at me. A sad one. Nodded, and left.
"Cammy, babyyy!" I yelled. He was usually in the kitchen cooking for me or cleaning sense I didn't do much anymore even though I did cook some but the sent usually gets me sick.
"What?" Cameron asked coming into the room. "You can take a break. I'm sorry," I sighed. He looked at me and rolled his eyes. He smiled at me and came over beside of me.
"I love you, you know that?" He asked kissing my lips. I knew he loved me. Of course I did.
"I know," I smiled at him.
"Good," he replied.
Cameron makes me happy in so many ways that it's hard to describe. He just is always so positive and stuff towards me and the baby.
~~~
5 months and 1 week.
"You've got an appointment tomorrow, right?" Cameron asked, playing with my hair as we sat on the bed and Dylan playing on my phone.
"Right," I smiled, looking at my daughter and then to my stomach.
"Mommy?" Dylan spoke. She laid my phone on the bed and crawled between me and Cam.
"Yeah, dear?" I asked back. She worried me a lot because she study's more now, she's growing, and that tone of voice is always a voice of curiousness.
"Can I go to the doctor with you tomorrow?" She asked, looking at me.
"I guess so, you haven't been before and it wouldn't hurt to take you. Im sure my doctor would love to see you too," I smiled. Gladly, it wasn't a serious question.
"Yay! I'm excited to see Rosie!" She exclaimed, grabbing mine and Cameron's hand. "Are you guys gonna live happily ever after, like the princess in the story's?" She asked.
"Yes, we are,"I smiled at her and then to Cameron. It was almost fake though because those princess lived almost perfect lives with happily ever afters. But darling, this is reality. There are no perfect lives no matter how good it seems or there are no happily ever afters no matter how happy you are. But this is my daughter and her fantasy world so what would she do if I would've said no? What would Cameron have done?
My thoughts distracted me from the world around and I finally closed my eyes, hoping for peace and no one to bother me while I thought my terrible thoughts of the future. But maybe it's for the best.
I am so so sorry for the slow updates. I have decided I am gonna finish this book but I may be taking a break from wattpad for a while after this book. But I may change my mind. I'll have to decide. But enjoy my update. Love you guys.
