Lucas's POV:
"Why must it be so cold?" questioned Alex Prewett, my best friend since....who knows how long?
"I know, perhaps we should try to be as warm as we can before we have to sit outside forever during the quidditch match." I suggested
Although I knew very well my face would be quite warm watching Jane fly around in the air for no matter how long
"Well it's in 15 minutes so we better warm up quickly" he said
We quickly made it to the common room where it was wonderfully warm
After some hot cocoa, he spoke
"96So how'd it go with Jane last night" he asked and flicked his wand, lighting the fire
"Er, I got kind of stopped" I said
"By what?"
"Her"
"Well wasn't that the goal?"
"We didn't exactly meet up in the best way"
He gave me a questioning look "What the bloody hell do you mean?"
"Well...it was dark, and I was going a bit fast"
He stared at me
"And then....we kind of...collided"
"And I'm guessing not in a good way?"
"Not really" I said
"Well how bad was it?" He urged
"She became blind for about a minute"
He raised his eyebrows
"Her glasses fell off..well, flew" I explained
"I'm sure she's still in love with you. I mean she can't just hate you all of the sudden because you were clumsy for a moment"
I blushed
"We better get going" he stood up
We began to walk towards the quidditch pitch
My thoughts were swirling everywhere, I barely noticed the cold
What if she knew about my feelings? I know she couldn't see me last night, but it felt like she sensed me staring at her. It's not like I could help it, I mean, when I lit my wand, she looked so beautiful. My brain stopped working for about a full 10 seconds.

"CROWN SWERVES PAST YET ANOTHER RAVENCLAW CHASER, STILL HOLDING ON TO THAT QUAFFLE! CAN HE MAKE THIS SHOT? THE ANSWER IS YES!! ANOTHER POINT TO GRYFFINDOR!"
The whole of Gryffindor erupted in cheers, with groans from the Ravenclaws
They were getting demolished just as they always do when they compete against Gryffindor
