I said goodbye to Maddie and Harry just like I have been doing every day for the past week. I got out of the car and started to walk to a small building, that I would have music in almost everyday, where I would meet Austin every morning.

I got there expecting Austin to be there already seeing as I was a little bit late, but she wasn't there.

I picked up my phone and dialled up Austins number. But then I noticed over the corner of my eye Alexander, one of Austin's brothers, looking very upset.

I put my phone back in my pocket and started walking towards him 'Alexander! Hey, Alexander!' He was not looking up. 'Alexander! It's Melody!' After a short run towards Alexander who was now facing me I noticed that he was on the phone with someone. But that someone was obviously the reason for his extremely saddening facial expression.

'Okay I'll have to call you back.' He put the phone down and looked up into my orbs. 'It's Austin. She's not well.'

'Not well? What do you mean not well!?' There was nothing worse than the thought of Austin being in pain. I wasn't even sure of what had happened but judging by Alexander's face it had something to do with her panic attacks.

'Mom and Dad called and they urm they told her that they're not gonna be here for Christmas this year.' Alexander wasn't looking very please either. 'You see Austin is their only biological daughter so for her it's just too much.'

'So what has happened to Austin? I need to know!' I started panicking about how Austin was feeling and if she was gonna be alright.

'This morning me and Ayden found her on the floor...unconscious. She had an empty packet of pills next to her. We both freaked out. She has never done this before, and it's just scary. We took her to the hospital where she is now under 24 hour surveillance for the next few days.' He passed me a note 'She wanted me to give this to you....well I have go now or else I'll be late for class.'

Alexander started walking away and after a few seconds he was so far away he was no where to be seen. I took a look at the closed envelope :

'Melody, I'm sorry. I just couldn't take it. It's been very hard lately, I've been putting on a smile for the last couple of months and meeting you last week and seeing just how happy you are made me realise just how unhappy I was. Just before you freak out, I wasn't trying to kill myself. I'm not even sure what I was trying to do. I'll be back at school in less than a week. It's nothing serious so please don't be scared. I'll see you soon.

Love, Austin.'
