"Welcome to summer camp!" The director announced which was followed by rapid forced clapping. None of us would clap if we had the choice. "My name is Scott. I welcome you."

"Mike, Mike, Mike... What are we going to do with you?" My mom sighed, looking at the third glass vase I've broken this month. The phone rang and my mother fed me her disappointed eyes. "Clean this up."
I groaned but obeyed. Thankfully my mom doesn't like holding the phone to her face so I can eavesdrop on her conversation through her speaker as I picked up glass pieces.
"Hello?"
"Mrs. Shinoda, I'm calling about a complaint I've received from around the neighborhood. Apparently teenagers around town have been breaking people's windows with baseballs. I've received word that some of your son's friends have been blamed for this and witnesses said your boy was amongst them and participated in damaging property. Charges will not be forwarded if Mike is admitted into summer camp."
"Damaging property?! Unfortunately, that does sound like my son. I'll enroll him into a summer camp immediately." She snapped and hung up the phone. My eyes widened as I heard her coming my way. "Michael Kenji Shinoda!"
"Mom, I swear I didn't do it! Neither did my friends! You have to believe me!" I gasped but she scowled.
"You're going to summer camp and that's that!"
~Break~
I frowned upon the thought of the memory. I didn't damage anyone's property. My mom truly thought it was me because I break our own stuff often and she knows I love baseballs and own dozens of them. My friends and I were all sent to this summer camp although we're all innocent.
"This camp is not like any other camp. I'm aware you've all done something bad to wind up here but we're not here to punish you." Scott said in a very official voice that suddenly went into a happier one when he spoke again. "I know what it's like to be a rebellious teen. It's hard to control your rages and outbursts, believe me, I lived it.
This camp is purely to allow you guys to let go and relax. It's just camping, nothing more. We'll have bonfires, some games, barbecues, picnics, swimming, and basically any fun sport you can think of. Your parents believe this is a place to put you into shape, it's not. It's to let your shape become a new, relaxed one.
None of you will be harmed unless you step far out of place. This boy," Scott grabbed a small boy with bleach blonde hair and snaked his arm around his waist strangely and held him tightly. "Is one you'll frequently see breaking the rules. He gets sent here every summer because he doesn't behave, he can't even behave here."
"That's not true-" The boy tried to stand up for himself but Scott interrupted.
"Hush. He gets pulled into my cabin most nights too because of his behavior." He paused again before shoving the boy off to the side. "Bullying isn't permitted but it's not too strongly frowned upon. We don't approve of food in the cabins but if you keep it clean, we won't mind. No leaving the premises all summer, we have a very large piece of land here. You have no reason to take flight somewhere else. That's our rules. I'll allow camp leaders to explain more."
"Greetings, Campers. It's nice to see so many fresh faces today. I am camp leader Jay and I'll be explaining a bit more from where Scott left off but first, a little bit about myself.
I grew up in these nearby woods before this camp took it over and my family was forced to move. I know this area like the back of my hand so if you have any questions about this place, I'll give you an answer guarantee. I decided to work here so I could feel like at home again although I wasn't much of a troublesome teen like this group.
