Ring! Ring!! Ring!!! Rinnnnn!!!
Ugh! That damned alarm clock
"come on its Saturday can't  I sleep in?" I asked no one in particular as I threw my pillow to my night stand where my alarm clock stood. It pushed the clock down and it was quiet... There that should shut it up now back to my sleep.
I rolled from side to side as I tried to fall back asleep.... Sleep won't come back.

I opened my eyes to stare at my room  the lilac and cream color scheme. I better go downstairs and say hi and also eat. I peeled myself off the bed and walked downstairs to the kitchen

"Morning mum" I opened the fridge pulling out milk and sugar.

"Morning hon, how was your night" mum asked as she dropped her bread on her plate and picked up her coffee cup. She was still in her cream v-necked night gown.
Ah! stupid obvious questions I hated them and my family loved using them a lot,I walked to the dinning and took a sit.

"Fine " I bit out when I realized she was awaiting my response.

"Hey you" a voice said behind my ear followed by a hand that ran through my hair, I didn't need to turn around to know who it was. Who else would it be except my annoying elder brother Robert Mc lord jr. Him and the scary big brother attitude he's got .

"Hey" I playfully slapped his hand from the cereal I was mixing. "When are you going back to school?" I asked adding more milk to my already watery cereal

" I never knew you wanted me gone" he said freinging a heart attack. Robbie attended golden gates university California, USA . he's majoring in business management. Isn't that what all sons of billionaires study these days. I scoffed and rolled my eyes as I thought.

"Hey! Earth to Jasmine" Robbie said snapping his fingers in my face.

"Huh! What!"

"Morning everyone" Olive sang as she walked past me and Robbie

"Well someone's happy today "I said looking at Olive, she walked to my dad  for a hug. Wait! When did my dad walk in... He was in his comfortable chair reading a newspaper and drinking coffee.

" morning love " my dad said. It was nice to see the whole family atlest before we all return to school.

Wait! Where's mickey? as long as I didn't fall into any of his pranks I was OK.

Meet the Mc Lord's
My family is half British -half Nigerian. My grand father was from London and my grand mother a Nigerian from my dads side that explains our last name MC LORD.
