I Never Saw you coming(a niall horan story)

Five.

 When I got back to my home, I kicked my shoes off and walked upstairs to my bed. I fell on it and let out a relived sigh,

 "this year is finally done." I state.

 I take my phone out of my pocket and check Facebook and all that good stuff, seeing I had no new notifications except for a few game request which really annoy me.

after about fifteen minutes I decide to call Audrey and see what she's up to, I dial her number and then on the third ring she answers,

 "hello?" she says ,

"hey." I respond,

 "Amelia what's going on?" Audrey asks,

 "nothing much just being board out of my mind." I state

"sounds very fun. "she remarks sarcastically,

"so what are you up to?" I ask

 "nothing much just laying on a couch with josh." she says and I can sense she has a big smile on her face

"hmm well that sounds lovely." I say

 " I know!" she gushes over the phone,

 "anyway so why'd you call?" Audrey asks,

 "well I wanted to talk and maybe hang out but hearing that you are pretty busy I will leave you so you can get back to josh." I say and Audrey laughs,

 "no its fine, you can keep talking. like I said before josh and I are just laying on the couch." she laughs,

"actually you know what I think I am going to begin my Doctor Who marathon now. I am going to snuggle up in my blankets and just watch it." I say getting excited ,

"wow, that's just depressing." Audrey says,

"you know what, not all of us can have a boyfriend to snuggle with so we have to replace it with something ad I choice Doctor Who!" I defend and Audrey laughs,

 "whatever you say." she states,

 "alright anyway I will talk to you later." I tell her,

 "alright bye have fun with your doctor who." Audrey jokes and then I hang up and take out my laptop.

 I turn it on and find my Doctor Who show and begin to watch very intensely. as I begin to cover myself in warm thick blankets my door opens revealing my mum with Selena in her arms, I pause my show and look at her,

 "Justin isn't coming over anymore, right?" I ask, and my mum gives me a sharp glare,

 "Amelia what do you have against him? cant you just learn to forgive?" she asks, I shake my head from side to side,

 "nope, never. you know what he did to me and I am in shock that you are letting him in your life again because I am also in your life so basically he is coming into my life too." I tell her,

 "Amelia stop being such a drama queen, I have a child with him."

"ya so?" I ask

"he was never good for you mom, he was selfish and unfair and awful!" I exclaim raising my voice just a bit

 "don't you raise your voice at me! I am an adult and I know what I am doing, alright?" my mother says sternly, I roll my eyes,

 "sure you do but when he messes with you or breaks your heart again don't come crying to me, because I am going to laugh in your face." I state and my mother gives me a dirty look,

 "you need to learn some respect." she growls,

 "and you need to learn how to care for your kids!" I snap at her and she steps closer to me,

 "don't you ever say that to me! I raised you alone, your father left you with nothing, he gave me nothing. I raised you alone with no help!" she yells,

 "he left you!" I scream at her,

 "really?" she questions "then where is your father because I haven't seen him in eight years and I don't think you have either." she says,

 her words like knifes to my soul, I don't say anything back because for once I am speechless, she had a point I haven't seen my father in eight years and yes I wonder what he's up to and all that stuff but most of me really doesn't care. I think that I usually just don't think about it, I always try to think positive but when people bring him up it feels like a punch in the stomach. I look up at my mother to see her staring at me with a pleased look on her face. she places Selena in her bed,

 "im going out your watching Selena." she states before I got the chance to protest she was out of my room.

I rolled my eyes and just laid in my bed not doing anything, as I was about to fall asleep my phone rings, and I answer it.

 "hello?" I say,

 "Amelia, hey!" it was amber,

 "hi what's up?" I ask ,

"nothing much I was just bored and curious if you wanted to talk for a bit." she said,

 " I would love that." I tell her.

 We talk about summer, and what our plans are and all that stuff and in about an hour we say our good byes.

 When I hang up the phone, my eyelids begin to feel heavy and soon enough my eyes shut and I fall into a deep sleep.
