I Never Saw you coming(a niall horan story)

One.

my eyes open to the annoying buzzing of my alarm clock, I groan and roll out of bed. It was a week before the last day of school and I was so ready for it. this whole year has been boring as hell, for me it was all studying, eating and sleeping and occasional times hanging out with my four friends, Audrey, Amber, Taylor and Hanna.

      I stand up from bed and walk to the closet and grab a blue t-shirt and a pair of black jeans and make my way to the washroom.

       I turn on the radio and begin to undress and turn on the water, I adjust it to a warm temperature. I step into it and let the warm water soak my skin. I soap my body and wash my hair and in a matter of fifteen minutes I was done. I get out of the shower and dry my body off and just shove my clothes on not even caring.

       I blow dry my wavy brown hair and then straighten it down, making sure it was perfect. I put on my daily makeup which consists of foundation, mascara and a light kind of gold eye shadow. I stare in the mirror for a minute pleased with my work and open the door to go downstairs.

       I walk passed the living room to see my mother and my half-sister Selena,

      "Good morning." I greet her,

     "Good morning Amelia." she smiles,

       Then her phone begins to ring and I walk to the kitchen and take a chewy bar out of the cabinet and begin to eat it. My phone lights up signaling I have a new text, I quickly grab it and look at it,

       "Hey walk to school together?-Audrey" I smile and answer,

       "Sure sounds good meet me at my house:)-Amelia" I press send.

       I then pack my dark green back pack up with all my school work and stuff. As I put my last binder in the bag there's a knock on the door

      "I got it." I say assuming it was Audrey.

      As I open the door my smile quickly disappears at the sight of the black haired, blue eyed man who was known as Justin,

       "Hey Amelia can I talk to your mom?" he asks

      "Why?" I ask him "because I need to tell her something." he says rudely

      "She doesn't want to talk to you." I say with disgust as I am about to close the door my mother is right next to me and I sigh

      "Justin? What are you doing here?" she asks with a smile even though he has messed up so many times and hurt my mother.

      You can see in her eyes that she still loves him- that's one thing I will never understand, love, how can anyone still love someone after they hurt them so bad, after they hurt their daughter too?

      "Amelia can you please go to the other room?" my mother asks,

       "Sure." I say quietly and walk to the kitchen,

       this is the part where my mother forgives Justin for his mistakes and takes him back and when I begin to fear for my own life, it's how it always goes but is it wrong of me to think that maybe love is honest, true and perfect

      I shrug my bag over my right shoulder and sit down, staring down at my phone.

       "Hey." I hear Audrey say,

       I look up to see her dirty blonde hair fall to her chest and her brown eyes looking at me "hey, how did you get in?" I ask

       "Your mom. "She says

       "Oh." I say

      "Shall we get going? "Audrey asks with a smile,

      I nod "we shall." I say and stand up.

       We make our way to the door and I see Justin in the living room with my mom and Selena, I frown and continue to walk to the front door. I open the door and Audrey and I walk outside and make our way to school.
