Lying About the Truth

 I walked in my house as I decided to walk back home because I had no ride.

I went in seeing Stiles as if he just came in right now.

"Julia? Shouldn't you have been here by like two hours ago?" He asked checking the time.

I gave him a fake smile, "Yeah, I just stopped by Mason's because we have this test tomorrow and we just studied together." I lied.

"Weren't you supposed to go to Grandma's?" He raised an eyebrow not believing me.

"It got cancelled." I said.

He just nodded as he didn't seem convinced.

"A lot of stuff happened at the Eichen House. The Dread Doctors showed up; Malia was right about the guys in masks." Stiles spoke.

"Um, could you tell me about it tomorrow?" I said as I wasn't in the mood. I just wanted to take some pain killers and go to sleep because my back was hurting me.

He looked at me, "Um yeah sure, is everything okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, just tired from the try outs." I lied walking away.

"Okay, talk to you tomorrow." He said as I nodded.

I went upstairs into my Dad's bathroom taking out two pain killer pills as I swallowed it going to my room.

I immediately fell asleep.

"Can I join Malia and like not read this book?" I asked holding the Dread Doctor's book as we all were at McCall's house.

Stiles told me what happened at the Eichen House and how one of the patients said to read the book.

"Malia read it though." Lydia told me.

I sighed as I put the book back on the table.

"I'm not reading it, sorry." I said walking away from the book club.

"But we all should read it, I'm reading it too." Theo said as I glanced at him looking at me as I went into the kitchen seeing Stiles and Malia talking.

"Don't mean to interrupt, but I'm calling Liam to take me away from here." I told Stiles as he looked at me.

"Okay, where are you going?" He asked me.

"I don't know, I'll just ask him to drop me home." I said because I didn't really want to hang out with him.

"Okay, call me if you need anything." He said as I nodded.

I grabbed my phone and called him as he said to meet him at the end of the street.
