Liam's POV:

She was sitting against the wall avoiding eye contact from me.

I put my index finger under her chin lifting her face as she looked at me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked her worrying as she seemed fine.

"You were already worried about Hayden... I didn-" She stopped talking once I looked to the ground feeling guilty.

She cupped my face as I looked at her.

"It's not your fault." She told me as I looked just looked at her.

"Are you okay?" I asked her as I glanced over at her forehead.

"I'm okay."  She said giving me a small smile.

I heard footsteps seeing Theo and Scott running towards us with Hayden.

"Julia!" Scott said kneeling down as I got up.

"I'm okay." She told Scott giving him the same smile she gave me. Scott looked at me and back at Julia.

"He knows now." She whispered to him. So Scott knew but didn't tell me, I'm assuming because Julia didn't want him too.

Scott helped her up as he looked at me waiting for an explanation.

"They injected something in her neck. I just watched her eyes fill up with mercury." I told them as I glanced over at Hayden.

"Are you okay?" I asked her as she nodded standing beside Theo.

"She looks okay..." Theo commented.

"Maybe she is healing...?" I said looking at Scott.

"Or maybe something is happening to her in the inside." Scott said I looked at him and back at Julia.

"Liam take Hayden to her place, Theo take Julia to the animal clinic I'll meet you there." Scott told us.

"But Julia..." I said looking back.

"Liam take Hayden home." Julia told me.

I hesitated and I took Hayden home looking back seeing Julia smiling at me.

Julia's POV:

Scott put my hand over his shoulder as he helped me get into car. He seemed worried as I could tell.

He placed me down as I looked at him and he looked at me.

"You are going to be okay." He said.

I leaned against the seat as I tried to get comfortable.

Scott drove off as Theo began to drive.

"You are going to be okay." He told me.

I chuckled as he looked at me through the back mirror.

"You're part of all this, you knew this was going to happen to me didn't you." I slurred.

"What are you talking about?" He asked me.

"I heard you talking to the Dread Doctors. So what, you work with them?" I asked him.

He put the brakes on the car as he looked at me.

"You can't tell anyone Julia. I wanted you to stay alive and I told them, but I guess they decided to keep Hayden alive. I'm just a Chimera like you, but the only success." He told me.

"Why are you even doing this? I thought you said you want to be a part of the pack? That doesn't really mean to betray us all." I told him.

"I want a pack, that doesn't mean Scott." He told me as the tone of his voice got deeper.
