I had feared before but now it was unstoppable. Sounds would trigger me into defensive stances. I would fear to open the door.
One night was when he came. I was going outside to wait for a friend.
The blow came hard and fast. I was on my knees shocked. The blows continued, it seemed it would never stop. I thought of everything he had done.
I clenched my fake hand and socked him in the nose. Anger was surging through me, and I grabbed his head. All the emotions I had been feeling flew out and I slammed his head into the concrete ground. Over and over and over until I was sobbing. My friend pulled up and called the police.
He was dead.
He was gone.
It was over.
