( 24 ) Too Emotional.

I've been in the hospital for a month or two. I think. Wait I'm 5 months yea a month in the hospital. Cadence went to school guess who's been taking her? Olivia and Ginger! They came down California to move in with us. Of course we had the space. Ashton didn't make his man cave. So that's Ginger and Olivia's room. But they've been with Cadence so she could have someone to run around with her, Ashton been working with Ralph you know co-owner stuff yatta yatta yatta. Only prop is that they're daughter is with her father so yea.

Finally I'm home first day and I've been treated like a queen I liked it at first but now it's flipping annoying! "Cadence pick up your cup full of juice" Ginger yelled. Did she just yell at my baby girl?! I waddled my way in front of Gingers face to yell right back at her. "Don't you yell at my baby like that freckle face!" I pointed at her face. She frowned knowing it was just my hormones, raising her hands to surrender.

I smirk that'll teach her.

"Don't you think your eating a bit too much?" Ashton preferred. Did he? Did he just say I was fat? We're on our way to the mall for girl things with Cadence in the back seat taking her mid day nap. "A bit too much? Are you calling me fat Ashton Liam York? I will so kill you once we get out of this car!" I whispered the last part. Ashton turn pale and started clutching the steering wheel hard.

"I didn't call you fat I was just saying- never mind babe your very beautiful and I love you" Pfft I knew that anyway. I shrugged not wanting to answer back to his dumb response but I had to pee so we stopped by Starbucks. Yea, I was hungry and thirsty too. Fine! I was craving one of those coffee something with whipped cream.

"I like this one how about you Cadence?" I posed showing off the white dress that hugged my chest and flowed loosely. I loved it I cried. "Mommy? Why are you crying?" I wiped my tears "I really love this dress does it make me look fat sweets?" I pouted. "Oh no! You look smexy mom!" I frowned smexy? "Let's get it then!" We left the mall with 20 bags but we weren't carrying anything Ashton was.

We made it home by 5, just in time to do dinner. It smells so good, like mashed potatoes, steak, corn, chocolate! Chocolate? What is wrong with me?! "Hey Brooklyn, Ashton, Cadence!" I got emotional Olivia was so sweet. "Psst she's only 5 months and very emotional beware" I scold punching Ashton's shoulder.

It was the next morning I was dressed in sweats, Ashton's shirt, black socks. My hair is in a high pony tail. Cadence is running around with Ginger and Olivia in the backyard. Ashton is somewhere around this house. I grabbed a jar of sliced pickles, and hot Cheetos. Grabbing my slippers I went outside to see Ginger on the phone and Olivia making sandcastle with Cadence.

"Hey girls" I waddled my way towards Olivia and Cadence. "Mommy! Do you like my sandcastle?!" I nod trying to sit down next to Olivia of course she helped me. "So? Where's Ashton?" I looked at Olivia chopping down on a slice of pickle. "My pickle!" Olivia burst out laughing.

I punched her shoulder. "Wanna pickle Cadence?" She looked up humming her answer. Handing her a pickle I seen Ginger coming sitting down next to Cadence. "Ashton wanted to know if you wanted green or blue for the new baby room?" Um? "Both!" I beamed. "Gotcha" There was a door the was locked in our room. Ashton broke down that wall that covered half the door, and there was a medium room there.

I'm at the store buying something, I stopped at the grocery store to buy Nutella and Pickles and Hot Cheetos and snacks for Cadence and the family. My phone buzzed.

"Hello?" My voice sounded dry. "Yes? Is this Mrs.Brooklyn York?" I looked at the phone number, "Yes this is? Who's speaking?" I went to the cashier to set my items down so she could pay for it.

"The owner from R's Company- I was wondering if your husband Ashton York is busy for a dinner party tonight? Sorry for the short notice" A dinners party? It's tonight? Wait what-?

"Uh- Yes we would be able to join your dinner party though I'm arriving with my daughter and 2 friends" I looked at my red cart taking things out as I go.

"That would be fabulous-" Gay as always. "-Thanks for answering!" I sighed, "Like-wise"

"Oh! Cadence you look adorable!" I had tears in my eyes. For 5 months I'm way too emotional. Way too emotional. 'Oh shut up Brook now get dress and prove that your the best wife and mother of 2!' My inner mother barked back. I sighed, wiping the tears that formed in my eyes.

"I'm gonna go get dress-" I kissed Cadence forehead leaving her purple room. I went to my room and put on a long gown the shade of dark blue. Silver heels, and I packed silver flats just in case my feet hurt.

I had a silver locket that reached up to my baby belly. Ethan better come out without any powerful pain cause pushing out Cadence hurt.

Olivia being the girl in her relationship did my hair. She curled my hair loosely, adding a few bobby pins here and there. I looked stunning Ashton said so! I was ready for this dinner party.

"Brooklyn right?" Danny asked. I nod, I was on the balcony. Dinner was amazing but we finished 1 hour ago, Cadence is sleeping on the couch. Ashton is talking business with Ralph. Olivia and Ginger is chatting while watching Cadence.

I needed fresh air, I guess Danny followed me here. "Do you know anything about the last here?" Un-expected question. I nod, 2 can play that game. "Yea- It's pretty messed up how Kelly's baby daddy left her cheated on her, then she met this ' handsome man ' who convinced her to kill herself and her baby girl" I sighed.

But inside I got him hard.

Danny Pov

-and her baby girl" I was furious. Angry. Sad. I burst. This is to much, "This was 3 1/2 years ago! Don't blame anything on me you hear?!" She stood there wide-eyed before smirking. Smirking?

"Look here Danny Lee you messed up my life- I fled because I knew the past would be to much, my daughter and I scurried away! I'm 5 months pregnant and happily married to Ashton York! Cadence is his step-daughter if I had the choice I wouldn't even think twice about letting him work here! 3 years ago I was a innocent, pure, scared girl! Now I'm a proud of what I've become!" I was stunned.

What was weird was that, Brooklyn was Kelly. Cadence was Claire. 2 minutes into my thought Ralph and Ashton came. "Let's get going Brook" He kissed her cheek. "Yes- I'm too tired goodnight Ralph, Danny"

Brooklyn send me a deadly glare. If looks could kill I've would've already been 6 feet down under.
