How would I be so stupid? I should have checked every inch of these sewers, and maybe I would have found the other secret tunnel. But, even if I had escaped, what would have happened? Would my body have found peace? Would I have lived in Derry as a ghost, warning all the children to stay away from Pennywise? Maybe I would have possessed some poor soul so I could have one goodbye with Bill. Or maybe, just maybe, It would have found me again and punished me?

"It's the only way. This way," Mike said as he led the group through a very tight opening. "It's in here."

I felt a hand grab mine, making me jump in fright. I looked over to see Bill, my little brother who isn't so little anymore, giving me the strength and comfort I need to do this.

"What do you think will happen to me once this is all over?" I found the words slipping from my mouth.

"Hopefully, your soul will find peace," Bill hopefully stated as everyone else tried to climb through the hole. "Or, who knows, maybe you'll come back." He gave me a sad smile. "I could introduce you to my wife."

"You're married?" I gasped in shock. Bill happily nodded. "I missed everything." My eyes began to blur. My head was spinning. I felt the wall to balance myself and sat down.

"I-It's not your fault," Bill said as he sat next to me.

"I know, but...I missed every single important moment in your life." I used my sleeve to wipe the tears away. "I hate that fucking clown so much."

Bill wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close to his side. My head rested on his shoulder as I let out a long-overdue cry.

"We're gonna stop him, Jenny. For good this time," Bill promised.

He helped me up. "My little brother isn't so little anymore," I weakly joked. "When did you get so grown up?"

We walked toward the small opening of the cavern. Chills going down my spine as I pushed my way through after Bill. We caught up with the others. My mouth flew open when we saw this huge statue in the middle of the room. It was as if something crashed here, and the spikes were just hardened.

"This is where It hit," Mike informed us.

"How much research did you do, Mike?" I wondered with a bit of amazement.

"It's been a while. I needed time to prepare."

My mouth stayed open as we looked around the cavern. Who knows how long this has been down here? All those kids taken from their families break my heart.

"So, all this has been under Derry, like, forever?" Eddie asked.

"Not forever," Mike said. "Just a few million years."

"So, it's not only children. It's been taking others to be its bride," I commented.

"No," Mike's answer shocked me. We entered the center of the small crater/ship/whatever this thing is. "Nothing in the history books has said anything about It taking a bride. If I had to guess, It needs someone to be its heir in case something were to happen."

"And I'm the lucky winner," I stated sarcastically.

Richie shivered. "I don't think I can deal with another clown coming after us."

I glared at Richie. "She's nothing like him." My hand automatically went toward my stomach. "She won't be." I watched as Mike set his bag down and pulled out some kind of urn. "What's that?"

"The thing we're going to trap it in," he answered. "It can only be attacked in its true form. The ritual will show us that."

"And what is It's true form?" Ben wondered.
