The Last Three

I've waited 9 whole years for this. thinking about it gives me shivers, When I packed my bags in my parents little 2 bedroom apartment my excitement was through the roof. The deal was; when I turn 18, I can stay for 3 months in British Colombia. Fulfilling my dream of water rafting by the mountains. Well news flash guys, I was 18.

My mother looked at me with a tear in her eye. "Well, your ready?"

"Yes mom, more then ever." I replied with a smile.

My dad had his hand on my moms shoulder, I had 4 suitcases and practically everything but the kitchen sink. I opened the door and waved them through with a smirk.

"Why thank you ma'am" my dad joked.

We jumped into our little Volkswagen Passat, and headed for the airport, this was becoming more of a reality by the minute. The drive wasn't too long and all I could think about was the cabin. I stayed in a cabin in BC with 6 other girls, we'd form a bond blah blah blah become friends blah blah blah and go rafting on a daily basis. It was expensive but I've been saving up forever.

"You gonna miss us?" my mom asked, as we pulled on a road that was very close to the airport.

"Nope, not one bit." I said sarcastically of course.

They laughed a little, it was nice to hear them laugh, made me laugh too. I didn't want them to make me homesick so I tried not to think about it much. I knew I'd have a blast.

We pulled up to the airport, i grabbed a bag, my dad grabbed two, and my mom grabbed one as well, we luged the heavy suitcases to the airport, where my journey would start.
