Calum sighed heavily, the team he was supporting missed the goal for the second time today. "C'mon boys, get it together." He currently sat in the living room, sipping on his second beer and trying to keep his voice to a minimum. Nebraska, only a year and a half old, was taking her regular 2 o'clock nap. While you were upstairs, trying to nap yourself, but it back fired. Having two babies in your belly was quite the hassle, especially if one baby moved, it woke up the other one and it turned into a party in your belly. It surprised you and Calum when you found out you were pregnant again, but it surprised you further when you found out you were having twins.
Just a month ago you found out you were having twin girls, and you decided to name them Isabella and Kimberly. Calum was definitely rooting for a boy this go around, but he was just going to have to be satisfied with a house full of girls and emotions for a while. Sighing heavily you got out of bed, travelling down the stairs to find your husband on the couch, cursing at the t.v. "How was that foul?" "Maybe because it was." You said, giggling as he turned around, smirking at you. "Hush you. How was your nap?" He pointed to his lap, you taking a seat there before sighing.
"Couldn't sleep." "Do you want a back rub?" "It would be nice." He nodded, instructing you to sit between his legs, pulling up your shirt. "Only another week baby, ready to meet them?" Nodding you giggled, pushing some hair out of your face. "Ecstatic. I just wish Nebraska could be in the room with us." When you breached the idea a mere three months ago, Calum was quick to disagree. He wasn't up for the idea of your one year old prancing around the room while you were delivering. "Well honey, she's too young. Maybe if she was older?" You sighed and nodded. "I guess. Do you think she'll like them?" He chuckled before shrugging.
"You know how she was around Ashton's baby?" You put your head in your hands, shoulders shaking as you laughed. "Oh god how could I forget?" You remembered the day like it was yesterday. Ashton had brought his newborn son over, he was still fresh, only two or so weeks old and Calum thought it would be nice to let Nebraska meet him, so he could see how she would act around your new babies, since you were only three months pregnant again then. As soon as Nebraska caught sight of the small baby in Ashton's arms, she screamed and ran back to Calum, beginning to cry as well.
"She was like so terrified." "And she wouldn't come out of her room until they were gone." You and Calum laughed. Smiling, you turned around to face him. "How are you staying sane with two girls in the house and two more on the way?" He shrugged before kissing you sweetly on your forehead. "You keep me sane." "I love you." You smiled, kissing him sweetly before you heard a small disturbance on the baby monitor. "Listen," Calum held up his finger, smiling. Nebraska was babbling into the monitor, occasionally saying 'Dada' or 'Mama'. "I'll go get her." Calum said, smiling before jogging up the stairs.
Just as he opened the door, Nebraska was working her hardest trying to stand up on the edge of her crib. "Hi sweet girl." "Dada!" Calum smiled, grabbing his precious gem before showering her in kisses. "You're the sweetest, did you know that?" He got back to the living room, Nebraska immediately reaching for you. "Mama!" "Hi snug bug!" You took her, kissing her neck as she squealed, one of her main tickle spots. "I think she loves you more than me." Calum pouted, crossing his arms and watching the two of you. "She loves us both the same. Remember, I did breastfeed her for 9 months and gave birth to her." Calum rolled his eyes, getting back to his game as you sat Nebraska on the floor to play with her toys.
- 1 week later -
Calum just got out of the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist before shaking out his wet locks. Yesterday he dropped Nebraska off at his mother's, knowing you could be going into labor any day now and besides, Mali was home and he knew how much Nebraska loved to be around her. You were trying to sleep, but the constant movement in your belly kept you awake, but it was more movement than usual. You took a sip of water, before sighing heavily. "Please let me sleep babies. Mommy is exhausted." Another kick to your bladder, but this time, you gasped, feeling a gush of water leaving you.
Pushing the covers off, you saw a huge wet spot below you, with a small tint of blood in it. Then, you felt the first contraction. It wasn't strong, but you knew they would get that way. "Cal!" He had just finished brushing his teeth, spitting into the sink before opening the door, the steam rushing into the bedroom. "Are you okay?" "My water just broke." His eyes went wide, he knew what it meant. "Call my mum and get the bag out of the closet. Let me get dressed." You nodded, sliding into your slippers before grabbing your phone.
Calum quickly pulled on his boxers and a white t-shirt, trying his best to dry his hair while wiggling into his skinny jeans. "Slow down Cal, my contractions are far apart. I'm fine." You said, giggling while watching your husband. Since he didn't have time to style his hair like he wanted to, he pulled a beanie on and began to put on his shoes. You watched, phone in hand and the bag on your shoulder. "Well baby, are you ready?" You asked, smiling when you saw his smile return. "More than ready to meet my two little princesses." He stood, taking the bag from you while giving you a kiss. "Let's go have some babies."

"I always hate this gown." You groaned, sliding into it while Calum proceeded to tie it up in the back. "I think you look cute. Your butt isn't that bad either." He gave it a light tap as you squealed, giggling at your husband. "Y/N, Calum, how are you guys?" Your midwife stepped in, smiling at the two of you. "We're good Doc, how are you?" Calum shook her hand before she hugged you. "You look amazing sweetie. Are you two excited?" Calum nodding, a smile on his face before the doctor led you towards the bed. "He's so ready to have two more girls in the house." She laughed before beginning to prepare you for the IV.
"Four girls, huh? How will you survive?" He shrugged. "Maybe if she wants another one, I can give her a boy." Calum said, crossing his fingers before you gasped, feeling the IV going in. "Okay hun, let's check and see where the babies are and how much you are dilated." She laid you back before lifting your gown, poking and prodding at your lady parts before smiling. "Two centimeters already, looking good." She felt around your belly, feeling your babies inside. "Babies are great. You're fine for now hun. I'll be back in a bit to check on you two." Calum nodded, waving her off as she left the room.
"I'm starving. Did you pack any food?" He nodded, searching through the bag before pulling out a pack of your favorite yogurt. "You're the best." He opened it for you, handing it to you with a spoon. He sat next to you, rubbing your leg before smiling. "The boys should be up soon, they said they come bearing gifts so be prepared." Giggling you nodded, excited to see the girls and guys. It was warming to see the rest of the guys finding girls to spend the rest of their lives with. Michael got married a mere month ago, Ashton a year ago and Luke six months ago. Calum and you tied the knot almost three years ago, and you were the only one who had the most kids, even though Ashton had a son and Luke's wife was expecting as well.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Michael called, stepping inside with his wife on his arm. "Hi Mandy!" "Y/N!" You two hugged, her squeals deafening in your ear. You and Mandy were old childhood friends and it really surprised you when she told you she was getting married to Michael. She handed you a small bag, inside containing two customized hats, each with the girls names on them. "These are adorable! Thanks sweetie and thank you, Mikey!" "Our pleasure." The two of them shared a kiss before Calum took the beanies, smiling while admiring them. "Hi Ash and hi Peyton." Ashton's son closed his eyes, putting his head on Ashton's with a pacifier between his gums. He was always shy. His wife, Gracie, came in next, smiling.
"You look amazing girlie, how are you?" "I'm good." You said, squeezing her tight before Ashton held up a bag. "Some blankets, two outfits and lots of booties. You're welcome." "Dude we already have so many clothes." Calum chuckled, taking the bag before beginning to rummage through it. "Cal hush, you can never have too many clothes." "Thanks guys." "Welcome." She gave you a wink. Luke came in next his wife, Tiff running behind him. "Y/N!" "Hi Tiff! Your bump looks so cute!" She giggled, hugging you before handing you a wrapped box. "It's a breastfeeding pillow! But made for twins!"
You smiled, hugging her again. "Thank you guys! I love you all." A few 'I love you too's' sounded as Calum proceeded to open the present. "Where is Nebraska?" "She's with Cal's mom. He didn't find it appropriate for her to be in here with us." Tiff smiled, "My two brothers want to be in the room with me. But I shut those lot down real quick." "Why don't you get up there with her babe? Just push our kid out too." Luke joked, Tiff hitting his arm, you giggling. "Only three more months Luke, you can manage." "Is birth like as bad as everyone makes it out to be." Ashton's wife scoffed, shaking her head. "I had such a smooth delivery with Peyton, but people's bodies take pain differently."
Mandy sighed, wrapping her arm around Michael's neck. "I'm so glad we're not at the point to have babies yet." You finished your yogurt, smiling at her. "A baby is a lot of work. Just imagine Cal and I now. We're going to have three babies under the age of two." Ashton shook his head, rocking his son back to sleep. "Good luck with that. Peyton isn't even two yet and he's already destroying things." Calum chuckled, shaking his head. "Hey Nebraska broke one of my bass strings yesterday, I know the feeling." You admired your gifts while everyone talked, before long your midwife came back in. "Hello everyone! Y/N, how are you?" "I'm good my contractions are coming closer together." She nodded and smiled, "You're most likely three centimeters now, but I'll be back again to make sure."
She left and everyone started to talk again. A few hours later after everyone said goodbyes, the pain was starting to kick in, but this time you knew how to cope with it. "Breathe baby." Calum said, kissing your hand as you held the bed post, focusing on breathing properly. A tear rolled down your cheek and Calum quickly wiped it away, coming closer to kiss your cheek. "Are you sure you're okay, sweetie?" You nodded, cuddling closer to him. "I promise." He gently rubbed your back, rocking back and forth while you kept your face in his neck, trying not to cry. You promised yourself you wouldn't cry this time, but too late for that.
"Just think about how beautiful they'll be when they get here. How nice they'll smell and their cries when they come out." You smiled, beginning to think about how they will look. "Maybe they'll favor Nebraska? Who knows." He continued, holding you closer before kissing your temple. "I'll tell you what I told you last time. Be strong, I know you can do it. It may hurt now, but the pain will soon subside when our angels are here." Your tummy fluttered at his words, you lifted your head, looking fondly at him. "How did I get so lucky to have you?" He shrugged, "I should be asking myself the same. I have a beautiful wife and three beautiful girls, life couldn't be better." "I love you Calum Hood." "And I love you Y/N Hood." He smiled white the two of you shared a passionate kiss.
Just as the kiss was over, your midwife came back in. "Hi everyone. Are you ready for your epidural honey?" "As I'll ever be." The time was now 10 a.m and you were more than ready to have the girls out and into the world. After the epidural you and Calum were able to get almost two hours of sleep before you woke up to a pain in your belly. "Cal, baby." You tugged on his shirt, his eyes slowly opening. "What's wrong?" "It hurts." "Do you need to push?" You nodded as he slowly got out of bed. He returned back with your midwife and a few more doctors. "It's time, are you excited?" You nodded, watching as they were putting Calum into some scrubs, also handing him a cap.
"You look hot babe." You said, smiling as your midwife put you into a scrub cap as well. "I would make a sexy doctor, huh?" He struck a pose, causing you to laugh. "The best." You were wheeled to a delivery room, where inside they had two bassinets waiting for you. "Alright Mrs. Hood, you're going to be just fine." As the doctors were getting ready, your legs were put into leg holders and Calum put his hand on your head, kissing you gently. "Make me proud, okay? I love you." He kissed you sweetly, watching the doctors get ready. "Baby A will be easy to come out. One strong push is all we need, ready?" Nodding you held Calum's other hand, preparing to push. You gave it your all, before looking at the doctor.
"Here comes Baby A! She's beautiful isn't she, Daddy?" Calum fought back tears as they placed her on your belly, her screams oddly high pitched while the nurses cleaned her off. "Hi Isabella." You said, putting your hand on her warm skin as she continued to scream. "Look at all of her hair." Calum said, smiling as he handed the nurse her customized beanie, her sliding it onto her small head. Calum quickly cut her cord, the doctor smiling up at you, "Baby B is head down, no C-Section for you Mrs. Hood. Congrats!" Smiling you cheered, Calum kissing you gently while still admiring your sweet Isabella.
"We're just going to put Isabella in her bassinet okay?" You kissed her before they took her away, the doctor nodding to you. "We have to really push this time, okay?" You began pushing, squeezing Calum's hand as hard as you could. You let out a breath, your midwife smiling at you. "You're doing so good sweetie." Calum nodded, "You can do it baby, come on." You began pushing again, this time letting out a moan as you felt her head come out. "Head's out! Another one with lots of hair." You giggled, pushing with the rest of your might and Kimberly was finally out. "Two precious girls. Congrats!" "Thank you." You cried, rubbing her back while they continued to clean her off.
Once her beanie was on, the two were taken to be checked out and weighed. "You're such a cutie." Calum cooed to Isabella, tickling her small foot as she opened her eyes, staring at him. "I love you." He looked over to Kimberly, her looking at him as well. "I love you too munchkin, Daddy hasn't forgotten about you." You watched your husband from afar, smiling at him. "He's an awesome Dad isn't he?" One of the nurses whispered to you, a smile forming on your face. "He's the best." She smiled, rubbing your shoulder while they continued working on the girls.
Before long the four of you were back in your original room, the girls done fed and back to sleep while you and Calum were ready to eat a late dinner. "I'm so happy they're here." You said, beginning to eat your mashed potatoes. Calum turned to look at them, a smile on his face. "Me too. I'm so proud of you." You two shared a quick kiss before enjoying your meals. A little while later, the door opened and in came Calum's family and Nebraska. "Hey baby!" You said, waving as she squealed, waving back. "How do you think she'll do?" Mali asked, coming to hug you before smiling. "Hopefully she won't run and hide." She laughed, engaging in a conversation with you while Calum's mom and dad crept over.
"They're beautiful, son." Joy said, smiling. Calum picked up Isabella, placing her in his mom's arms as she fought back tears. "That's Isabella." Nebraska gasped, pointing to the baby while she took our her pacifier. "Baby?" "Want to meet Kimberly?" You watched in silence while Calum picked her up, putting her up to the bassinet. "Meet your baby sisters." Joy put Isabella closer as Nebraska gasped again, before smiling. "Babies!" "Baby sisters?" You said, smiling. She nodded, reaching out to touch her face with a smile. "I think she likes them." Mali said, smiling. "Thank God."
Calum sat Nebraska on the bed with the two of you, her small body climbing into your lap while the two of you watched the babies get held by his family. "Well we got the second worse part over with." You whispered, smiling at Calum. "I'm glad she didn't run and hide." He chuckled, kissing your forehead. After lots of your friends, the boys and more of Calum's family got done visiting, it was time to settle down again. "Nebraska, come here." Calum put her on the bed, where the babies were settled in your arms. "Say hi." They were both fast asleep, pacifiers in their mouths as she looked at you. "Want to give them a kiss?" She got close to Isabella, kissing her first before doing the same to Kimberly.
"Can Mommy get a kiss?" She giggled, grabbing your face and kissing you sloppily as you giggled. Calum stood back, smiling at his four girls lying in the bed, fighting back some tears. He honestly did have the best family. "Daddy!" Nebraska screamed, tugging on his shirt, a giggle leaving your lips. "Sit." She said, pointing to the bed before helping him sit down. "I love you guys." He said, shaking his head reaching over to stroke Kimberly's face. "And we all love you too." He winked at you, you blowing a kiss his way before the five of you spent more time together before getting some sleep.
