This is Aliyah Ahmed. She is 15 years old and is in tenth grade, she has four siblings and two parents. She lives in Stony brook. She wears a hijab, niqab, and a burka when she goes outside, but when she's I'm front of her daily, or her female friends she can take it off. In English, a hijab is something that covers your hair and sometimes your body and Muslim girls wear the hijab but it's your choice if you want to wear it or not, a niqab is something that covers your whole face except your eyes . A burka is a gown that covers your body. Aliyah likes to read the Quran and other books, she likes to listen to Nasheeds, and she likes to cook, and she helps out her mother and siblings. The people at school make fun of her but she doesn't care she wears her outfit for Allah, her Lord, not for these people. People often stare at her rudely and be rude to her and push her but all Aliyah thinks then that Allah will be happy that's all that matters. She's pretty Islamic, and doesn't wear makeup or tight and vulgar clothes.
