Losing Her Faith

Chapter Five (After the accident,in the hospital)

I woke up,and saw doctors flashing white lights in front of my eyes,and I felt immense pain in my ribs,and frankly my whole body. "Your awake!"the doctor exclaimed."Go tell her family about this wonderful news"the doctor said. "Um,excuse me doctor,but why are you so happy that I woke up?"I said to him,barely able to speak from the pain. "And why are my ribs feeling like they're broken?'' "Well that's because you have broke two of your ribs,from the accident,and you were passed out for six days and we were worrying that it was a coma,luckily you woke up,your family was so worried about you." the doctor said. The strange thing was,I couldn't remember one thing about my"family" or this "accident''. "Her family is asking for permission to visit her"the nurse said."I've got to run a few tests and draw her blood,which will take at least twenty minutes,so please tell them that we're sorry,but we can't let them in,when they can come we will inform them."the doctor said. The nurse left,leaving a very confused me, and the doctor, who was already starting to prepare the things for drawing my blood, and taking the tests. It took twenty-five minutes to run the tests and draw the blood. Then the doctor said to the nurse that my "family" could come. The nurse went and after a few minutes a man, a woman, and four kids came in. The woman came first and kissed my forehead and said "Alhamdulillah, Aliyah you're awake!". There wear tears in her eyes but she looked very happy. She had brown hair and brown eyes."Who are you?" I asked. She looked at me in alarm and said " Aliyah now is not the the time to pull a stunt on me" she said, smiling a bit."I swear, I'm not pulling a stunt, I really don't know who you are." I said. Then she looked at the doctor on fear and said "Doctor Wellington, what is this, why is Aliyah saying this, I'm her mother and she doesn't remember me?!" she said to the doctor. He ran by me"Aliyah, you really don't remember who this is?" he asked me. "No, I just said that I really don't remember who she is I said. The doctors face was a mixture of fear, panic, and worry, and so was the man's and the four kids, but the woman who said she was my mother was crying, actually sobbing and saying "my baby doesn't remember me." Then the man came up and said "Aliyah, what about me, you must remember me, right, I'm your father?" he asked. No, I'm sorry but I truly don't  remember any of you guys."I said to him." Doctor, what does this mean? my father, I guess asked. I'm afraid she's lost her memory" the doctor said. That's when my mother fainted.                                                                         Assalamualaikum, guys!
