- V actually predates the creation of Timothy by several years! She's my oldest character still in use.
- The release draft of Book 1 was the 5th overall draft. That's a lot of forest adventures!

- The world of The Stray is a pangaea. The vast ocean that surrounds Lutroa is known as The Elderdeep, and it's a strange and eldritch place. Distances become fluid— you can sail for weeks and only cover one mile, or somehow appear leagues away after only a single gust of wind. The ocean may be bottomless, or it may simlply be so spacially warped that it seems that way. Wondrous and horrible sea monsters roam the deep, and unexplained phenomena from raining flesh to sky writing happen constantly. Luckily, the true elderdeep only begins a decent distance from the coast, so fisherman and fish kindre can still ride the waves. You can think of it almost as though the continent casts a lamplight of normality, and outside that light, shit gets WEIRD.
