tj's pov:
i sat on the hard vinyl hospital chair and waited for the doctor to get back, he walked out and I swear I've never looked up so fast in my life! "she's awake, you may see her now." i jumped up practically running into her room "teej?" she said her voice hoarse dried blood in the corner of her lip "Yeah it's me baby I'm here." she looked slightly releaved "where's xander is he alright?" she asked panic lacing every word. "he's fine, his with my mom and dad." the silence enveloped us "I'm sorry nix, the kid wasn't mine, I should've told you sooner but it wasn't anything to do with me so I thought it was kinda irrelevant.." she sighed "it's okay teej I just don't want to be left with Xander alone.."
I sighed helping phoenix up to get dressed "i hate hospitals." i muttered "same." phoenix says "spent alot of time in them before you came back.." i elaborated "figured out how to stitch myself up so I stopped going.." phoenix told me. I sighed "we make a right pair don't we." i laughed lightly hugging her "please don't ever scare me like that again nix, I thought you were going to leave me for good and I couldn't cope with that.. You and xander are my everything and I just couldn't live without you both.." I sighed slightly and stood up about to go and call Craig before something stopped me "I want you to go on this tour teej." I heard phoenix say as I walked slowly towards the door "what?" I asked, shocked "I want you to go, it's your job, its what you do, it's what you did before you meet me and I want you to go I'll be fine the guys will be back soon and dad will probably come and stay with us from a while if I asked him." I turned around and looked at her "sure?" I asked and she nodded "but are you positive?" I asked "hiv positive." she said, dead serious, we both burst out laughing and i hugged her quickly "Im going to go and pick xander up, take him home and stuff, we'll come and see you tomorrow" I told her and she nodded, I walked towards the door "I love you Tj." phoenix said, just loud enough for me to hear "I know." I said as I walked away.
