Braylon Evangeline Winter
I merely sighed in response, rolling my eyes in annoyance as he stared at me with dark eyes, a small smirk still painted across his face. "So, I still don't know your name, beautiful." He out hummed softly, gazing at me in a expectant manner.
"Good. You weren't supposed to." I grunted out, eyes wandering around the room curiously. A few more people had entered the room, but not many. One woman was sitting in the corner of the room on the floor playing with a bundle of hair -gross- while seemingly mumbling quietly to herself about... something. An incredibly skinny man was sitting on top of one of the tables, twitching uncontrollably while letting out quiet hissed. Another man, although this one was kinda chubby with almost no hair, was sitting at a table with his head down on it, snoring loudly, signaling that he was very much asleep.
"Aw, don't be like that. All I want is a name. I could guess." He offered, shifting my attention back towards the annoying, persistent man with long, messy, dirty blonde locks and bright hazel eyes. Wasn't that bad if an idea. I'm always up for a good guessing game.
A light smirk curled into my face as I nodded my head in agreement. "Alright, alright. But there are rules. Meaning that I don't have to give you any hints unless I feel like it, and if you can't guess my name by the end of breakfast, that you will leave me be." I stated, looking directly into his eyes, the way momma had taught me to. Always look a person in the eye when speaking to them or when they are speaking to you. Simply manners. Manners that many people don't know.
"Deal. But if I guess your name, you have to... hang out with me everyday, and... give me a kiss." He bargained, a dark grin finding his lips.
"Fair enough." I breathed out, fixing my posture while gazing at him through narrowed eyes. He chuckled softly and nodded his head. "You can start guessing now." I stated, folding my hands in my lap. I'll admit, that I was fairly confident that he would discover my name because my name, is not incredibly common for girls. But I still love it.
Licking his lips, he hummed for a moment. "Hm, Sara?" I shook my head. Way off buddy. "Chloe?" Nope. "Becky?" Uh-uh. "Lilly?" Ew, no. "Alexandra?" Nu uh. "Grace?" Hell nah. "Hope?" Not even. "Katy?" Gross. "Mia?" Ha. "Ella?" Nah. "Bella?" Not quite. "Ashleigh?" Cute. "Anna?" No bitch. "Jasmine?" Nada. "Ariel?" I don't have a tail. "Marissa?" Eh-eh. "Hannah?" Psh. "Alexa?" No.
And the names continued, from Ava, to Callie, to Elaine, to Haley, to Kelli, to Nicki, to Rebecca, to Vanessa, all the way to Zara. They just kept flowing out of his mouth, but, fortunately for me, not once did he say my name any anything even close to it.
Suddenly a loud ringing filled the now three fourths full room, and almost everyone yelped and jumped from their seats, making a beeline towards the food bar, which was now full of rather repulsive looking food. Wrinkling my nose, I shook my head and slowly lifted myself out of my seat, but a hand grabbed my forearm and stopped me. Looking down, I saw Justin was staring at me through narrowed eyes.
"The food here is gross. You probably don't want to eat it. Plus, I'm not finished guessing. I know a lot of names." He murmured out.
I rolled my eyes and scoffed quietly to myself. "I just want to see what they have, I'll be back in a second, alright. There's really no where I could go anyways, we're not aloud to leave the lunch room." I grumbled then tugged out of his grasp and stalked over towards the bar. The food not only looked, but it also smelled putrid. But, I managed to snag the last two apples that rested on a tray, along with a plastic cup of water.
