I know some of you may know this book as "Compton Souls" but I changed it because majority of the book is in Miami and I thought it would be hard to try and keep the Compton feeling in it. But I hope you guys enjoy !
*Anari in Pic* "Anari you need to go and talk to her she's your sister" Ms.Pam said to her.
"Ma I don't know her, she doesn't know me lets just keep it like that" I said as I finish my breakfast.
"Well your brother called and that was one of his wishes so go and talk to her she's at Mariott on 27th st. go and see her" Ms.Pam said as she washed the dishes.
"But-" Anari was cut off by Ms.Pam. "No buts girl" she said as she continues washing.
I went upstairs got dress and went to the hotel. "Hi is Ava Rankins in this hotel" I asked as I slid him a $50? "Room 127". I walked to the elevator and went to floor 1 and found her room. I knocked and there she appeared Ava.
"Umm hello" Ava said as she looks shocked. "Hey I'm Anari can I come in" I asked as I locked my phone. "Uh sure" Ava said as she opens the door. I walked in and took a seat.
"Well my name is Anari and I'm your sister we met when we were babies you probably forgot but yea Al told me to come here and get you" I said as I looked around. "Get me and take me where" Ava said.
"Lord please help me.. Listen you don't have to come I'm practically doing you a favor so if you want to stay in this hotel so be it I won't lose a wink of sleep" I said as I got up to leave.
"Anari, I appreciate you coming here but I'm okay. I want to start fresh on my own this time. I would love to get to know you more and hang out like sister. " Ava said as she reached for a hug.
"Yeah, we're family! So independent and I love that already. Well, the least I can do is show you some apartments that are beautiful. I'm a realtor" I said with a giggle.
"Omg, perfect! let me get changed and we can head out! Maybe grab some brunch" I said headed to the bathroom.

After looking at a few places, I settled on a 1br apartment near the beach. Anari got me a great deal on it. So not only did I get my first place, I was a homeowner! Of course, I needed to celebrate. Obviously, I needed to finish the closing process but Anari said I should be good to move in by next week.
"Anari girl, you did your thing sis. I really love my new place" I said as I handed her the last document.
"Girl of course! Its my job. Unfortunately, I do have to go and prepare for my trip. But when I get back it will be up sis" she said as she picked up her purse.
"Okay, safe travels, love you" I said as we headed to the parking lot.
I drove back to the hotel so I could change my clothes since it was getting a little hot. As I walked in my phone went off, it was Indie.
*ON THE PHONE*
Indie: Hey lady, what are you doing having heard from you.
Ava: Im well just getting back in. And I know a lot has been going on. Happy to hear from you.
Indie: Well, can I see you.
Ava: You can. Where do you want to go?
Indie: Well for starters how about you let me in..if that's okay.
Ava: You are a hoot lol
I opened the door and there he was. Yall this man was fine as hell. He smelled so good and his smile was just beautiful. Today he was wearing grey Nike shorts with some all-white forces. Just beautiful.
"What you tryna be my man popping up at my room" I said as I hugged up.
"Maybe, you looking good. damn" he said as he licked his lips.
"Thank you, I was just changing since its getting hot outside" I said as I took my cardigan off.
"So whats all the stuff you had going on. I know earlier you said you were busy"
"Yeah, I got an apartment. My sister got my a really nice deal. I move next week" I said as I looked through my suitcase. "Im so tired of living in a suitcase, ugh".
"Thats dope! We need to go out and celebrate, together. If you are okay with that". I said standing up.
"You know the right things to say. Thats all I want to do right now. Get a good drink and dance all night. Maybe get into some other things" I said as I straddled his lap sitting down.
"Ava, you are trouble. But I like it" I said as I leaned in for a kiss. Surprisingly she kissed me back.
"I know, I'm pressure" she said getting up and headed to get herself together.
Real-life pressure. My shorty, my boog.
